Saving Myself For Her Not that way. Not sexually. Saving my life. Trying to be smart about what I do. Actually giving a damn. Because I matter to her. It’s something I’ve never had, anyone who cares like she does, and it’s absolutely amazing. She’s amazing, this very good girl I can not have. Her dad made that clear the night he caught us together, but that’s not enough to stop me from me from wanting her. Still, it would be a completely selfish move on my part to draw her any deeper into my life. I just heard my mom’s getting out of prison early. Not for good behavior. Because of overcrowding. Life was always crazy with mom. If she comes back, if she wants me back, my life turns to crap. I know that, and at sixteen, I don’t think I can do anything about it, except maybe run as far and fast as I can. Even Dana, my very good girl, won’t be able to save me. Views: 46

From C.L. Moore, the legendary pioneer of classic sci-fi, comes the collected adventures of the iconic space outlaw, Northwest Smith.First published in Weird Tales in the early 1930s, C.L. Moore's Northwest Smith stories, especially SHAMBLEAU, were hailed as some of the most imaginative and vivid science fiction stories ever to come out of the golden age of sci-fi. At a time when women were heavily underrepresented in the genre, C.L. Moore was among the first to gain critical and popular acclaim, drawing comparisons to contemporaries like H.P. Lovecraft and Fritz Leiber.Northwest Smith, now recognized by many as the archetypal space smuggler and gunslinger, is an adventurer in the classic sense of the word, and these thirteen stories chronicle the bizarre dangers, interstellar wonders, and titillating romances that captured the imagination of a generation. 5-STAR REVIEWS OF THE ARTIST CRIES WOLF
A Fun New Paranormal Series (By Jessie C on November 1, 2016)
I've already enjoyed Heather Horrocks' Chick Flick Clique series. I am loving her foray into the paranormal realm with Moonchuckle Bay. I like the idea of a place where paranormal can live in peace, and in the open, while tourists think it is all part of the town's movie productions.
In this story, Amber is on the run from a deranged stalker. She follows her brother's last wishes to deliver a letter to his best friend, Samuel. Her brother has asked Samuel to protect her. A job that is not unpleasant for either of them. The romance was sweet, and funny, with a bit of suspense thrown in. Loads of fun! The Artist Cries Wolf was especially appropriate for the day after Halloween. I found myself wishing Moonchuckle Bay was a real town, just for all of the funny gimmicks that they have for the tourists. I will definitely be on the lookout for more books in this series. Content: clean (some kissing, mild violence, smelly trolls)
You must read!! And I must re-read! (By Kindle Customer on November 2, 2016)
I love Heather Horrocks, and this book is no exception, I like that you can see where its going without it being completely predictable. Such a great story line, I look forward to hearing more about these townsmonsters :) in Moonchuckle Bay.
REVIEW OF BAH, HUMBUG (Christmas Street Romantic Comedy Christmas Novella #1): “This isn't a book; it’s magic. What could be a sappy Christmas story turns into a wonderful, magical, bring-the-family-together Christmas story. I wasn't merely reading Lexi and Kyle's story, I was there with them, being part of their story. I came up for breath only when I was done with the book (I read it at one sitting). Views: 44
