TARNISHED (Book 5.5, The Caged Series (Novella))

Sean has a reputation for brutality, and it is well-deserved. Centuries of inflicting pain and punishment on anything and everything he deemed worthy slowly stole whatever light had been in him when he was born. His angelic nature fell victim to the god of war within him, just as Ares had intended. After an enigmatic encounter, a vision of Ruby comes to Sean and changes all of that. Her piercing blue eyes bear their way into his soul, awakening it as though it had never slept. Struggling against his inner darkness, Sean fights to keep that light from fading again and eventually goes to extremes to ensure that it won't.

Night Bites

Life is full of lofty goals. Everyone has them. I am sure you are working hard to achieve one right now. I like to try to keep things simple. Setting myself up for failure has never been all that appealing. That being said, my goals for today do seem a little out of left field. Even for me.1) Find a way to reconnect with my mate2) Find a way to punish the one that broke the bond (i.e. kill the jerk)3) Learn how to potty train a puppy and at the same time get him to stop catching the curtains on fire4) Get someone to tell me the missing link to my genomeAnd of course...5) Find a way to bring down the Grand CollectiveI don't think any of them can be done overnight, especially the one about the puppy. I mean that little rascal is something straight from hell. Literally. This is book three in the Nyx Slaughter series. It is a companion book to the second book and picks up right where the second book left off.

Night Marks

Relationships SUCK. That is with a capital S. U. C. K. in case anyone was wondering. My life used to be so simple. Get a call, grab my guns, kill someone. Now, I run my own business where I have to actually try to be nice to clients, even if they are total jerks. That is quite a feat considering I would be diagnosed with antisocial personality disorder, if I ever bothered to visit a shrink. This week, in life as I know it, I find myself in a constant battle with a jerk of a werewolf mate, still in love with my vampire mate, and trying to figure out why demons smell like strawberries. Or at least one demon in particular. Please shoot me if I become associated with more than one.I can assure you the life of Nyx Slaughter is never dull and you don't want to miss a minute of it.This is book two in the Nyx Slaughter series. It is a companion book to the third book and will lead right into the next book.

Haunted

(The sequel to Caged)"I cowered away from him, unable to formulate a coherent sentence. Questions ran through my mind though none made it past my lips. I wondered how this could be happening, what he wanted, and what major injustice I'd brought against the universe to bring a fate such as this upon me.Perhaps being born was reason enough."After his near death experience only months earlier, Cooper's behavior is rapidly deteriorating. So what does Ruby do? She adds a new roommate into the mix. When her friend Ronnie is abruptly called away for a family emergency, Ruby takes in Peyta, Ronnie's highly intelligent and overly observant teenage daughter. Night Lurks

I am beginning to believe that someone has it out for Sebastian's and my relationship. One of these days, Fate and I are going to have a nice sit down chat about screwing my life up. You can bet guns will be drawn.I have given myself three days to find Sebby before Candace has a chance to get her whip lashing in. I have to rely heavily on my demon stalker, Ben, to guide me through the process of finding a succubus who doesn't want to be found. As is usual, dealing with Ben gives me a headache, but at least he is good for some comedy relief. If his odd sense of humor works for you.I am hit with a betrayal I was forewarned about when I finally catch up with the succubus. There are many levels of betrayal and even though this may not be the worst kind, it still leaves me pissed off.Yeah, I know, it is just another day in the life of Nyx Slaughter. I am not even going to mention the fact that I have a baby vampire following me around asking questions I cannot begin to answer. That is something I am trying desperately to forget. This is book five in the Nyx Slaughter series. It is a companion book to the fourth book and picks up right where the fourth book left off.

Night Howls

I don't watch television, I don't go to the movies, I don't like pampered princesses, and I don’t like large crowds milling about my streets. So, you can imagine how much I am enjoying having Hollywood descend upon Night Owl City. That's right, I am yet again, in a bad mood. My poor mates are convinced I have a bad case of PMS., but they are so wrong. Now, if the nightmares I am having start coming true on top of the cameras, then we could compare this to my time of the month. When members of a film crew start showing up looking like chopped liver and one of my guards is blamed, I have to put my hatred aside to find out who and what is attacking them. To get the answers to those questions, I am forced to go undercover as an actress.Maybe we will see my name up in lights. Who am I kidding? My scenes better be cut in final production, if they were even bothering to record them in the first place. This is book four in the Nyx Slaughter series. It is a companion book to the fifth book and will lead right into the next book.
