Invasion

The Ancient Enemy has arrived. A Swarm Battle Core is orbiting Earth preparing for the Reaping. The remnants of mankind desperately try to either survive or fight back. But they aren’t certain what they’re going to face. All they have are myths and legends. And when the Swarm actually does land, it’s worse than any of those. Major Mike Turcotte, the hero in defeating the Airlia, makes a desperate attempt to stop the Swarm by going directly to the Core. On Earth, the future of mankind hides in the Facility, an underground self-contained ecosystem. And across the planet others prepare for the last fight. From an Assassin in New York City who performs a heroic act of sacrifice, to the enigmatic Darlene in her trailer in Marfa, Texas, to Nosferatu and Nekhbet, the last two Elder undead hiding on an island in Puget Sound. It appears there is no hope. But there is always hope, but sometimes it takes a tremendous, unthinkable sacrifice.

Chasing the Ghost

NY Times, USA Today, Wall Street Journal Bestselling Author, former Green Beret and West Point Graduate, Bob MayerCovert operative Horace Chase has been chasing ghosts his entire life.First, his Medal-of-Honor winner father who died in Vietnam without ever meeting his son. And left him the legacy of an automatic appointment to the Military Academy at West Point which shaped the next thirty-five years of Chase's life. Then, the ghost of his mother, who died while he was at war in Afghanistan and wounded, causing him to resign his commission and return to the United States, a lost soul.Chase now wears two hats as a Federal counter-terrorism liaison to the local police department in Boulder, Colorado where he becomes embroiled in two seemingly un-related cases. Working as a detective with Boulder PD he chases another death, this one the apparent rape/murder of Rachel Stevens, an upscale housewife attending night classes at the University of Colorado. And with his counter-terrorism team he is embroiled in a series of killings involving a militia group, a rogue ex-Special Forces officer, a psychopathic ex-CIA contract mercenary, and ruthless drug runners. From the streets of Boulder, to the highest railroad tunnel in the world, to a swingers club hiding in plain site in suburbia, Afghanistan starts to look pretty good to Chase.Reference Mayer’s Thrillers“Mayer had me hooked from the very first page.” Stephen Coonts“Exciting and authentic. Valentines Day

"The point in history at which we stand is full of promise and danger. The world will either move forward toward unity and widely shared prosperity--or it will move apart." President Franklin D. Roosevelt. What does it take to change history and destroy our reality? Change events on the same date, 14 February, in six different years. The Time Patrol must send an agent back to each day, with just 24 hours for each to defeat the Shadow's plan to disrupt our time-line, creating a time tsunami and wiping our present out. Ivar: 1929. Gunmen massacre seven people in the infamous St. Valentines Day Massacre. Al Capone is consolidating his grip on the Outfit in Chicago. But what if it turns out very differently? Eagle: 1945. President Roosevelt, heading home from the Yalta Conference, stops on the Great Bitter Lake to meet King Idn Saud of Saudi Arabia to discuss a relatively new topic: Arab oil. And a Jewish homeland. Roland: 1779. Captain Cook, famed explorer of the Pacific, meets his fate in Hawaii. Scout: 278. Saint Valentine is beheaded near the Milvian Bridge. Doc: 1945. The Dresden Firebombing. Kurt Vonnegut is in a slaughterhouse as the first bombers appear overheard. Moms: 1946. The ENIAC computer, programmed by six women, is unveiled to the public. The press thinks the women are simply models. The mission, as always for the Time Patrol, seems straight-forward: keep history intact. No matter the cost. But this time, things go very differently than in previous missions and one of the team members must make the ultimate sacrifice.****About the Author Bob Mayer is a New York Times bestselling author, a graduate of West Point, former Special Operations, and the feeder of two yellow Labs, most famously Cool Gus. Independence Day

'The distinction between the past, present and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion.' Einstein. What does it take to change history and destroy our reality? Change events on the same date, 4 July, in six different years. The Time Patrol must send an agent back to each day, with just 24 hours for each to defeat the Shadow's plan to disrupt our time-line, creating a time tsunami and wiping our present out. Doc travels to the 4th of July, 1776, one of the most important dates in American history where forces are at work in Philadelphia to add a Declaration of Emancipation to the Declaration of Independence. Moms goes to Monticello exactly 50 years later, in 1826. The day on which two of the architects of that document and the country, Thomas Jefferson and John Adams, die within hours of each other. What secrets do they hold close on their deathbeds? And who else might know about them? Roland is at Gettysburg, the day after the Confederacy reaches its 'high water mark' with Pickett's charge on the 3rd of July 1863. But on the 4th, both armies stare at each other on a rainy day, waiting for the other to make a move. What if the Union attacks? Ivar is in the same war, in the same year, at a victory that is over-shadowed by Gettysburg in terms of publicity, but of more value strategically, when Grant takes Vicksburg on the 4th of July, 1863. But what if this great victory turns into the Union's greatest shame? On the 4th of July 1976, before there was a 'War on Terror', the Israelis launch a daring raid to free hostages at Entebbe. There is only one casualty in their force, the older brother of the current Prime Minister; what if that had turned out differently? Eagle is there to make sure it doesn't. Scout travels furthest back, to the 4th of July 362 B.C. to the Battle of Mantinea in Greece, in which Sparta is defeated by Thebes in a Pyrrhic victory, leading to a third party uniting Greece: Philip II, father of a man who would change history: Alexander The Great. But what if Sparta wins the battle? The Shadow's plan is to disrupt our time-line, creating a time tsunami and wiping our present out. It is up to the Time Patrol to make sure that doesn

D-Day

The 6th of June is the Day of Days Same date; six different years, the Time Patrol must save our timeline from the SHADOW by preserving our past to protect our timeline from annihilation. History is made by ordinary people doing extraordinary things. The fact that often time’s history doesn’t record the heroics of these people doesn’t alter that. The missions on 6 June range from: 1944 A.D.: Parachuting in behind the beaches of Normandy and linking up with the Resistance to insure the last ‘good war’ ends the way history records. 478 B.C.: At the Pythian Games in Greece in 478A.D., where art and war merge. 452 A.D.: A monster’s lair in 452 A.D. where a man becomes the legend of Beowulf. 1843 A.D: At West Point, where a middling cadet, small in stature, named Ulysses S. Grant is trying to survive and graduate, with his curious brain that mixes war and art. 1998 A.D.: In a secret nuclear weapons depot in Pakistan, where the saber-rattling of nuclear tests is getting ready to escalate into Armageddon; a war to end all wars. And, strangest of all, a mission thousands of years into pre-history, to the day Art is born. While history doesn’t record the heroics by the ordinary, there are those who do notice. And there are those who want to stop those ordinary people and change our history in order to create a time tsunami and wipe our present out of existence. It is up to the Time Patrol to send an agent back to six different years on the 6th of June and make sure that doesn’t happen!
