It’s been ten long years since Mark and Hannah led a small group of loved ones into the bowels of Salt Mountain. A disaster of Biblical proportions was coming. A meteorite which would turn the skies black and plummet the earth into a deep freeze for seven long years. They survived the freeze and re-entered a very hostile world. When others tried to take from them they persevered. But none of it was easy. Now, ten years after the world went cold they faced a second threat. A piece of the meteorite which broke off during a deep-space collision might be following the same path. NASA no longer exists. The United States government is only partially operational. There’s no way to verify the threat even exists, much less know when it might strike. So they do what they’ve always done: prepare for the worst and pray for the best. And while they’re preparing, they’ll also contend with other things: three of their own may be called to account for their role in a vicious murder. One of their most beloved family members is tragically killed. And they uncover a conspiracy. One which indicates the United States Army may be guilty of keeping a terrible secret.
