Come Fly With Me

How do you say no to a man at thirty-thousand feet? When Grier Thompson is called to Indigo, Alaska to deal with the estate of her late, estranged father, the last thing she expected to find was a hotly contested will, a hostile half-sister who never knew Grier existed, or for that matter, an entire town that doesn’t take kindly to this stranger. Except maybe for Mick O’Shaughnessy. An Indigo native, Mick has all he wants in life: a soft flannel shirt, a nice cottage, and a thriving airline charter business. Could this simple life get any better? One look at Grier and Mick discovers the answer is a resounding, “yes.” She thinks so too—and if it weren’t for her family baggage, maybe she could relax and enjoy herself before it’s time to return to real life. But then an unexpected visitor from Grier’s past unsettles the entire town just when the residents were finally starting to warm to her. By the time Mick comes out of the clouds to realize he’s fallen head over heels in love, it might be just too late to win Grier’s heart.

Brother In Arms: The Sacred Brotherhood Book III

Rush had always been the brother that was the most up for adventure. Then Grinder died and he realized that it was time to slow down. Fast-forward by a year and more and his older brother Archer had found Mel. Hell, his own twin was with a woman of his own! Rush is starting to get restless again, which was just perfect. Cue a string of anonymous hook-ups and one night stands. It was enough to feed the restlessness for a while, then an adventure of sorts came a callin’ by way of the VP’s estranged aunt and the President’s sister-in-law. Her daughter was in need of some kind of white knight, which Rush could care less about, but the white knight routine did come with a pretty big perk. It would mean that he got to go back to a job that had, once upon a time, felt like a calling. Of course, nothing was ever easy where Rush was concerned, especially when he actually set eyes on the damsel in distress. One, she wasn’t some paper princess, and two, she definitely didn’t want him around. After all, one-night hook-ups were supposed to be just that… one and done.

Blank

An adult paranormal short story. ****My name is Vance, and I work for the United States government. And that's all I know about myself. Every other detail about my life, my friends, about me is blank. I have no idea how I ended up stranded and unconscious in a war-torn country or how Rachel managed to get me back to her tent. But I'm here, and so is she. All I have are literally the clothes on my back. But when her emerald eyes look at me, I feel like I have more. I feel like being blank might be a gift. I feel like maybe it's a relief to not know who I am for a while. We get one night together. One night of pleasure I know I will never forget. And then I remember. Sometimes reality bites. From the AuthorBlank is a paranormal short story that I wrote several years ago and it was published in an anthology. Recently I pulled it out, went through and rewrote several of the scenes, added new content and had the entire story re-edited. Blank also got a pretty hot book cover. When the Naughty Box 2 anthology went off sale I had some requests from readers to publish Blank on its own, and so here it is! It's a short read, good for a cold day with a blanket and a cup of coffee or cocoa. Its a quick escape into another world, and I hope you enjoy the mini vacation that is Blank.P.S. I have recieved requests to make this a full length novel. Maybe someday :) From the Inside FlapTeaser from *BLANK*Her hair fanned out across the pillow, creating a dark cloud around her head. Her cheekbones were on full display from the smile that curved the corners of her mouth. Tentatively, she reached out, brushing her fingertips across the top of my chest. "I liked it."Smug confidence made my chest puff out. Of course she liked it. I was just that good.Rachel's hand still lingered against my skin, and I covered it, pulling her fingers through mine. "We should do it again." I gave her an innocent smile. She laughed; her chest vibrated with the sound and it filled me with this kind of light. It was bright and pure, startling. It was something I hadn't felt before. It was kind of like the darkest parts of me were being introduced to the sun for the very first time."What happens in the tent stays in the tent?" she asked, giving my fingers a playful squeeze."I won't tell if you won't." I winked. Her hand was still resting over my chest and I felt her fingers brush over a raised scar near my collarbone. They came back to brush over it again. "What happened here?" she whispered, turning her head to look at me."I don't remember.""What's it feel like to not know about yourself?" she asked."Blank," I echoed, feeling a little hollow inside. "Like endless white space where a painting used to be.""It sounds lonely," Rachel murmured."It might be," I replied. "But I have you."

Twisting the Pole

Comet is content to relive the past, but meeting Salk gives her a glimpse into the future, and she might just let go of regrets. Comet is five hundred years old by human standards of linear time, but in her mind, she is the same young woman taken out of the Middle Ages by Santa. Being pulled out of her time to become one of the Christmas reindeer had been harsh but better than being stoned or hung as a witch. Her foray away from the workshop takes her to a modern past, a Ren Faire. The clothing and traditions are familiar, and she spends time grieving for a family lost many Christmases ago. Salk is a coal elf of the naughty-or-nice department. His job has been to find those who are definitely naughty and punish them. He never imagined that he would find a reindeer who needs his nice side more than anything else.
