It is said that the first stone of its construction was placed in 1913 and with the sole help of the hands of the neighbors it was finished in 1917. In 1962 it was closed and with it all the sick people, who were forgotten, were abandoned to their fate. Now, in 2017, three couples of American tourists, cross the slopes of the narrow road of Sierra Espuña when the engine of the rented van stops purring.
