Never Say Die Read online

  Nobody knows or realizes a spy is at this party. Synx has sent over a spy from the very beginning of this war. The spy pretended to be a wounded civilian at Sarah’s hometown. You would never know he is one of Synx’s men, because he is disguised as a human. Synx can see everything the spy is seeing with his own eyes. He can also hear everything the spy is hearing, but not as well as the spy himself. The spy has to fill Synx in with most of the details. The spy’s main target is Sarah at this party. It has to be careful not to blow its cover, so it is going to try poisoning Sarah by slipping something in her drink. It is going to try poisoning her once the party has gone wild.

  The General walks into the banquet hall once everyone is in here. The General walks onto the stage and stands in front of a podium. He will now begin his speech. The General says, “Good morning everyone. Please, stand up as I give my speech.” Everyone stands up as he gives his speech. Once everyone has stood up, the General continues on with his speech. The General says, “Ladies and gentlemen, it is an honor to be standing in front of all of you. Last night was a very important part of human history. We have finally claimed a victory over Synx’s army. Now, just because we have a victory over his army doesn’t mean we should feel calm and relaxed. We need to claim more victories in the future in order for humanity to stay alive. This victory is very important, because it shows the enemy we are strong enough to fight against it and have the opportunity to take them down. I’m not going to bore you all with a long speech, because it will be pointless. Now, let’s celebrate our first victory over those scumbags.” Everyone cheers as the General steps off of the stage and joins the rest of the party.

  Now that the General’s speech is over, everyone can begin to party and have a good time. Of course, everyone is free to eat and drink as much as they please. Breakfast is done shortly after the General’s speech. Sarah patiently waits for the crowd to die down, because she doesn’t want to wait in line for very long. It is best to wait for the crowd to dive down for Sarah to get her food. Her roommates immediately stand up from the table and head over towards the food, just like everyone else. Sarah’s roommates spend a long time in line waiting to get their food. They will not have to wait as long as necessary, because a whole bunch of horny young men allow all of them to cut in front of them. Sarah gets in line as soon as she sees everyone heading back to their tables with a whole plate of food.

  Sarah isn’t too far behind her roommates as she is getting food, because some other group of horny young men allow her to cut in line as well. Sarah’s roommates get their food and head back to their table. Sarah isn’t too far behind them, so the roommates step aside and patiently wait for her to walk back with them to their table. Sarah has gotten her breakfast and walks back to the table with her roommates. They begin eating their food.

  The party does not go wild and crazy until the bartender is serving alcoholic drinks. Sarah doesn’t really drink too much alcohol, because she doesn’t like getting a buzz or drunk. On the other hand, her roommates love getting a buzz and drunk. However, the twins are the ones that really like to get drunk. It is okay for people to get drunk in public, because nobody drives cars anymore. The only people who drive cars are people in the military. Because this is a government party, it is okay for the military members at the party to get drunk. Not everyone in the military is at this party. Most military members are standing guard and protecting the military base. Everyone who is part of the victory is at this party, except for most of the wounded of course.

  The twins love to dance when they are drunk. Sarah is not much of a dancer, so she will not be joining them on the dance floor. However, she is watching them as they make giant fools out of themselves. Synx’s spy is keeping a very sharp eye on Sarah and tries to stay as close as possible without being suspicious or getting caught. The spy has a poison ready to go to drop inside of her drink. He is very skilled at poisoning and killing his targets. He has killed many targets ever since he arrived here. The poison makes it seem like it was a natural death. The poison has different effects on people. For example, most people suffer from a cardiac arrest, but others suffer from lung failure. The spy carefully and slowly makes his way over to Sarah, because she is easily distracted by the twins’ behavior. The spy successfully drops the poison into Sarah’s drink and she immediately takes a sip. The poison will not affect Sarah until later on tonight. The spy leaves the party as soon as she is poisoned.

  The party ends around 11 PM. Sarah did not dance or drink a lot during the whole party. She mostly ate when she was hungry and watched the twins make a fool out of themselves. Once the party is over, Sarah helps carry the two twins back to their house. Fortunately, the rest of her roommates are okay to walk on their own. Sarah helps all of their roommates find their way home safely. Once everyone is safely home, Sarah helps the twins get ready for bed. It is not an easy task, because they are moving around a lot and giving her a hard time. Chelsea asks Sarah, “We did have fun during party. Did you have fun partying?” Sarah replies as she tries to get Chelsea into her pajamas, “Yes I had a lot of fun partying with all of you today. Now, let me see your legs.” Chelsea spreads her legs as wide as possible and giggles. Sarah cannot help but laugh as she puts Chelsea’s legs into her pajama bottoms. Sarah asks Chelsea, “Okay, stand up and allow me to put on your top.” Chelsea removes her shirt and says, “Look, boobies.” Sarah cannot help but laugh, again. Sarah orders Chelsea, “Stick out your arms for me.” Chelsea sticks out her arms and allows Sarah to put on her shirt. Chelsea is fully dressed and lies down in bed.

  Sarah goes to help Scarlet get into her pajamas, but she is already passed out on her bed. She doesn’t even bother putting Scarlet in her pajamas. She is okay going to bed with what she is wearing. Now that the twins are all asleep, Sarah heads to her bedroom and goes to bed as well. However, Sarah falls down just outside of her bedroom. The poison is taking effect on her body. She is in big trouble.

  Sarah quickly gets up off of the ground and heads for her window. She pukes outside of the window and screams for help. Luckily, someone was just outside of the window she puked out of and could tell something was wrong with Sarah. Sarah immediately passes out on the floor after screaming for help. The person she puked on breaks into the house and rushes to rescue Sarah. Fortunately, this person is a military doctor and knows what is going on with her. The doctor rushes Sarah out of the house and brings her to the emergency room. Thanks to the doctor, Sarah survives the attack. However, she will be on close watch for the whole entire night. Like all of these cases, they assume it is due to natural causes. Sarah is unaware she was poisoned and is resting inside of a military hospital. By the morning, she will be okay to head back home.

  Sarah wakes up in the hospital with no memory of what has happened to her. The doctor explains to Sarah, “It seems last night you experienced a heart attack and food poisoning of some sort. I am the one whom rescued you after you puked on me. But don’t worry, I forgive you. You get used to having bodily fluids launched onto you by your patients. Before you can go, we are going to run a physical. You don’t really have anything to worry about, because it seems you’re in good health. Now carefully get out of bed and follow me.” Sarah doesn’t say a word to the doctor, because she cannot talk very well. It also kind of hurts when she talks as well. She follows the doctor and gets a physical. Like the doctor predicted, Sarah is going to be perfectly fine. All she needs is a couple of days off to rest. She will be heading out for her next mission after she is cleared by the doctors.

  Meanwhile, Synx is pleased to know the spy has successfully poisoned Sarah. However, he believes Sarah was killed by the poison and not just hospitalized for it. Synx says to his spy, “Congratulations on killing the World Army’s strongest sniper. Now, it is time for us to attack their military base. As for you, I have a new target in mind. Assassinate Lieut. Col. Robinson. Let me know when he is eliminated.” The spy replies, “Not a problem at all.” The spy disconnects from Synx and gets ready to assassin
ate Lieut. Col. Robinson. The spy lives in a house by himself, so he doesn’t have to worry too much about anyone finding out he is a spy or his ways of killing people. The spy has plenty of equipment to assassinate anybody. For example, the spy keeps hidden guns and swords in the walls of his house along with many lethal poisons and drugs.

  As the spy gets ready to assassinate Lieut. Col. Robinson, Synx gets his army ready to attack the World Army’s head military base. The World Army’s head military base is where Sarah is located in. The World Army will be able to stand the ground against Synx’s army, but it will be a very difficult battle to win. The World Army has been very successful when it comes to defending their military bases. However, occasionally the military bases need major repairs and need them very quickly just in case another fleet is on its way.

  Synx does not plan on taking over the military base, but does want to do some serious damage to it. He is going to come up with a plan to destroy the base within the help of his spy. The spy will plant a bomb inside of the military base as Synx sends in a small army of troops as a distraction. Once the bomb has gone off, his army will retreat and return home. Synx plans on sending a very powerful message to never mess with him.

  Chapter 3

  Corrupter’s Revenge

  Sarah returns home from the hospital and is completely okay. She will be heading on to the battlefield very soon. However, she will be heading out for battle sooner than she was expecting. The spy has received orders to blow up the military base as Synx sends over his army as a distraction for the bomb planting. The spy will be told when it is necessary to plant the bomb and must not plant it without receiving these orders. Synx’s army is on its way now. The World Army is unaware of what is going to happen in just a couple of hours.

  Meanwhile, Synx is secured and heavily guarded by his men and family inside of his fortress. Synx has six wives. Each of his wives are part demon and vampire. He has three daughters whom are all demons. He has one son whom is all vampire. They all respect and cherish Synx, besides his son. Synx’s son’s name is Raider. Raider only pretends to respect and cherish his father, because he doesn’t want him to know his true feelings about his father. Raider’s ultimate goal is to go rogue and join the World Army. He plans on leaving the fortress and head over to the base where Sarah is located. He is very nervous to leave the fortress and try to join the World Army. He has to find a way to prove he is on humanity’s side and not on his father’s side.

  Meanwhile, Sarah is welcomed home by Haley and Abigail. The twins are out going grocery shopping. They are expected to arrive home in an hour. The twins take forever to go grocery shopping, but they do an excellent job at getting everything they need in the household. Abigail says to Sarah, “I am so happy you are home and doing well. You had us all very worried.” Haley says to Sarah, “It is nice for you to be home. You are a very strong lady, so I am not surprise you are doing well. So, what are your plans for today?” Sarah replies, “I’m not entirely sure of what to do today, but I would like to spend the day with all of you. So, what did you have in mind?” Before Abigail and Haley can answer, somebody knocks on the door as if something is going wrong. In fact, something is going completely wrong. Sarah answers the door. It is Lucas. Lucas frantically says to Sarah, “We are in need of your services, we are under attack.” Sarah immediately rushes out of the door with Lucas and gets ready for battle.

  Sarah climbs up to her sniping tower to defend the base against Synx’s army. Sirens go off to alarm everyone about the attack. Sarah readies her weapon and points it at the enemy’s army. She is not alone inside of the sniper tower. There are three other snipers alongside her whom I ready to fire at any moment. They will not be firing their weapons until Sarah has given them the order to open fire on the enemy. The enemy is still too far away for them to get a clear shot, but they can clearly see the enemy is just moments away from their base.

  Now the enemy is close enough for Sarah and the rest of the snipers, she orders them to open fire. Of course, Sarah is the first one to pull the trigger and kill an enemy target. Many of the enemies die from the snipers’ bullets, but many survive due to their heavy durability. It is up to the heavy gunners to finish them off. As Synx’s army takes fire, the spy has received the orders to plant a bomb. The spy heads down a flight of stairs and into a boiler room. The spy makes sure nobody is here. Nobody is inside or near this boiler room, because it was abandoned years ago due to the leakage it was producing. They did not consider it a high threat, because it was not a very large boiler and it would just run out of gas. The spy plants the bomb on the boiler with a five-minute timer attached to it. This will give him enough time to escape and not have to worry about it.

  The World Army continues to wreak havoc on Synx’s army. The spy says to Synx, “The bomb plant was a success. It will be going off at any moment.” Synx replies, “Perfect, humanity will now know to never mess with us.” Synx orders the leader of his army to withdraw the attack and head back to the fortress. Synx’s army retreats, but not without heavy fire. The World Army cheers as the enemy retreats. However, the cheer for victory does not last for very long. The bomb goes off and destroys 1/5 of the military base. It leaves a big open hole in the base’s walls. Sadly, hundreds of civilians and soldiers die from this explosion. The wounded are also by the hundreds. It is unclear what caused this explosion to happen, but it is very clear it was caused by a member of Synx’s army. There is no trace of a bomb being planted or whom caused the explosion to happen. However, the World Army will not allow the enemy to get away with this.

  Meanwhile, Synx is looking through the eyes of his spy to look at the damage that has been done to the military base. He laughs out of the joy of seeing the enemy suffer from this tragic attack. Synx congratulates the spy, “Excellent job sending them our message. I am certain they will try to do the same to us. Now you may carry on with your next target. Let me know when he is dead.” The spy replies, “Will do.” The spy heads into his house and gets ready to assassinate Lt. Col. Robinson. He does not plan on poisoning him, but making it look like he committed suicide. He has everything he needs to assassinate him at the ready. However, he will not head over to Lieut. Col. Robinson’s house until later tonight. He is hoping he will not be joining the fleet that will be attacking Synx’s military base, because he will have to plan on assassinating him another day. He wants to end Robinson’s life as soon as possible. Fortunately, the General has scheduled a meeting for Sarah and five other members to discuss their next attack on Synx. The spy will be able to assassinate Robinson as planned.

  The World Army is repairing the damage that has been done to their military base. As the walls are being repaired, Sarah and five other members arrive at the General’s meeting to discuss their next attack on Synx. With all of the members in the room, the meeting is ready to proceed. The General says, “Thank you for meeting me today after such a tragic incident. We will now begin to plan our next attack. I do not plan on having an army attacking Synx, because all I want to do is send a clear message to him as well. Sarah will be the leader of this mission. Your job is to plant a bomb inside of the enemy’s armory and get out of there as fast as possible. Make sure you leave no trace of you ever being in there. Make it as if it was a tragic accident. I’m expecting all of you to get out of there alive. Are my orders clear?” Sarah and her members reply, “Yes, sir!” The General replies, “Good, your mission will begin tomorrow night. You are all free to go and do as you please.” Sarah and the other members of their next mission leave the meeting and do whatever they like. Sarah will be hanging out with her roommates. She is not quite sure yet what they have planned for her. However, she knows she is going to have a great time with all of them.

  Sarah returns home and meets up with her roommates. Sarah asks them, “So, what do you have planned for today?” None of them really give her an answer. Abigail replies, “You’ll find out in a moment. Just follow us.” Sarah follows her roommates into a club. It is filled with bea
utiful young men and women. Sarah asks her roommates, “Why are we here, what did you have in mind?” Chelsea replies, “We are all looking for a man, we figured you needed a man in your life as well. You are way too old to never have had a boyfriend before.” Sarah smiles and replies, “I’m flattered and grateful for all of you for doing this for me, but I am not really looking for a relationship. Especially right now.” Scarlet replies, “I understand, you will hop into a relationship when you are ready. But for now, will you help us?” Sarah replies, “You need my help? Every one of you has been in a relationship before, why do you need my help?” Haley replies, “Because you’re an excellent judge of character.” Sarah replies, “Fine, I will help all of you. Promise me you will not try anything to get me into a relationship.” They all reply, “Yes, ma’am.” Sarah and her roommates head over to the bar and order a couple of drinks.

  They all sit around the bar and look for a man they are interested in meeting. They all have different tastes in men, but Sarah knows exactly what everyone likes in their man. For example, Haley likes men who are the complete opposite of her. She likes them outgoing and exciting. Haley is an exciting person, but she needs to have somebody alongside her. Haley is going to be the toughest out of all of the roommates, because she is so quiet and shy. For the most part, Abigail is good on her own. It is the twins that need the most help, because they love to get drunk and have no good sense of judgment whatsoever when they are drunk. Sarah is going to keep a very close eye on the alcohol intake the twins have throughout the whole entire night. She is going to make sure they do not get overly drunk.
