Claiming My Sweet Captive

My sweet captive doesn't like to be touched. She will learn. She no longer has the right to refuse. She flinches at the sight of my scarred face, but the way she whimpers and trembles makes perverse pleasure stir within me. I captured the little FBI agent while she was trying to take down my drug empire, and I can't allow that. My pretty hostage possesses a stubborn streak and sharp mind, but her clever brain is no match for my iron will. I'll stop at nothing to claim her virgin body, no matter how many deviant punishments I have to devise for her. No one will ever touch her again—especially not my cruel brother. Samantha is mine to keep and protect. Mine to play with and punish. All mine.

Love Spells Trouble

Love-sick spirits from the beyond. Dead romances resurrected. This spells trouble. As a psychic medium, bringing peace to restless spirits is my specialty, and I thought I was getting the hang of it. But when two ghosts that were supposed to be resting in peace pay me a late-night visit, I realize how much I still have to learn. Unfortunately, the more answers the dead provide, the more questions I have about their troubling reason for returning ... And that's not even the strangest thing happening in Eastwind. Unlikely couples are popping up left and right. Is this the Winds of Change at work or something more sinister? And could it have anything to do with the new genie in town? The timing is too coincidental for my liking, but unless there are means, motive, and opportunity, I'd better keep my suspicions to myself. The last thing Eastwind needs in this contentious atmosphere is an all-out witch hunt. Or, um, genie hunt. The mysterious spell is gaining strength, creating love triangles, squares, and pentagrams that grow messier by the minute. If I can't put an end to it soon, hearts (and noses) will be broken. Love Spells Trouble is the seventh book in the Eastwind Witches series, which is best enjoyed in order. Fans of no-nonsense female sleuths, snarky familiars, delicious loves interests, and greasy late-night eats will adore this humorous cozy mystery set against a quaint (and gossipy) supernatural village.

Ethan’s laid back and takes things in stride. Erin’s a little more…intense and doesn’t really like to go with the flow. So when these two polar opposites are invited to attend a prestigious invention/maker camp during winter break it seems almost impossible. Even though Erin and Ethan have reached a kind of truce, Erin thinks that his invitation to the camp was a mistake. And for that reason, Ethan decides to go. He has something to prove to everyone—but mostly to himself—and he’s convinced that his desk-evator idea has great potential…if he can do it right right. But he’s going to have to do it on his own. His buddy Brian isn’t coming, neither is Erin’s partner Zoe, so the Marcus siblings are going to have to find new partners. This is especially important to Erin whose rival, Romanov, is also attending the camp. Erin’s never forgiven him for his comment about “girls” having no place in science. She’s determined to beat him. But then she overhears someone talking about Romanov’s project, and decides that she’ll never be able to compete with his game-changing invention. So, what now? It’s Brian who provides the solution: Why don’t the Marcus siblings combine their ideas, their brains, and their teams, and make something spectacular? With only one day left, can Erin and Ethan actually create a workable model of their idea, and is it enough to win?
