Escape the Grip of Drama and Take Control of Your Life
The Power of TED (The Empowerment Dynamic) is a fable on self-leadership, because how you lead your own life has everything to do with how you lead in other areas. It is a tool for both individuals and organizations who want to create more effective communication and relationships. Learning how to transform everyday drama and opt for more growth-oriented solutions, is the priceless gift it teaches.
As you walk with David, the main character, he shares how he is feeling victimized by life. Through serendipity he meets some wise guides, Ted and Sophia, who show David how he can move from feeling like a Victim to being a Creator of his own life.
The Power of TED offers a powerful alternative to the Karpman Drama Triangle with its roles of Victim, Persecutor, and Rescuer. The Empowerment Dynamic (TED) provides the antidote roles of Creator, Challenger and Coach and a more positive approach to life s challenges.
The teaching story provides a guide for learning and growing through the challenges we all face in our lives. Its message resonates with everyone who, at some time in their lives, feel victimized by their situation.
Having helped thousands of people and scores of organizations over the past decade, The Power of TED (*The Empowerment Dynamic) is being published in this 10th Anniversary Edition to convey a very timely message of hope that all of life, whether at home or work, can be transformed to create satisfying and fulfilling relationships.
Its message is needed now more than ever.
The 10th Anniversary Edition retains the powerful leadership story and adds three new sections:
A new Foreword by Lisa Lahey, Ed D, Harvard Graduate School of Education

Cassandra Carmichael has had a terrible year. Her parents are getting divorced, destroying whatever façade of family they had left. College is so much harder than she anticipated. Freshman year sucks so far. And on top of that, her roommate is the most obnoxious human on the planet.
But tonight, all of her problems are going to disappear when she sees Jake Turner and his band play live at Graffiti’s Battle of the Bands.
Cass knows three very important facts about Jake and this night:
1. She loves Jake Turner. She’s loved him since she was five years old and he moved in next door.
2. Nobody has ever been cooler than Jake Turner. He’s perfect boyfriend material to complement her brand new rebel without a care reputation.
3. Jake Turner will erase every bad memory of this year and give her the happily ever after she’s secretly always longed for.
If only she could find him. And talk to him.
If only she could get Troy Cameron to leave her alone. Just because they sit by each other in English 101 does not mean they’re friends. Or that she thinks he’s hot. Or that he’s exactly the guy she needs tonight. Views: 514

Her whole life has been leading up to this moment -- training in martial arts and parkour with her mom, learning the legends of old and traveling from town to town. Now, she's in a new town, she's met a gorgeous guy she'd like to trust, and she's having strange visions. The pressure is on to choose a side. Both sides need her if they want to win. The futures of humanity, the fae, and the entire planet all depend on Siri. Which side will she choose? Can one girl really save the world alone?Ellis Logan’s new YA Fantasy series, Inner Origins, is action-packed with magic and romance. The books combine fairies, Celtic/Norse mythology, and hollow earth theory to create an adventure you’ll never forget.Rave Reviews for Shades:"Ellis Logan has come onto the YA novel scene with a strong funny, teen-age protagonist by the name of Siri Alvarsson. Siri is a likable character who, despite her normal adolescent insecurities, can still hold her own, which is refreshing to see. More than a coming of age story, it felt like a coming into one's own story. And yes, it has the requisite love triangle, of course, because she’s a teenager discovering herself as a woman. Siri finds herself coming into some abilities (coming into her power as a woman?) which get progressively stronger. She ends up on a quest and must make choices and decisions along the way. On one level, her choice could simply determine the next turn in the quest to save those she’s trying to save. However, on another level, her choice is all about her. Does she choose to honor and support her own strength and power, and independence, or does she give her power away? The action is amazing, as is the folklore background. Logan's descriptive wordplay is impressive, painting the scene for us like a canvas. There were literally spots I wanted to stop and enter the book, they sounded so lovely." ~ L.Shab"Ms. Logan has written a strong, fast paced story. Her world building was vivid and descriptive. Between that and the well developed characters, I was immediately pulled into the story. Every chapter added something new and exciting to the story. The author did an excellent job of getting seventeen-year old mannerisms, attitudes, vocabulary and humor down to almost perfect. The plot and writing are strong and this is more than a story between good and evil or light and dark. For a seventeen year old girl, Siri has a lot on her plate and hard decisions to make on her. On the up side, there are two handsome young men who want her attention, and an adorable pet squirrel named Miko, so it's not all bad. The end tied up the existing story nicely but left enough questions and situations open for the next book. For a first time fantasy author - well done!" ~ D. Christiana"Ellis Logan bursts on to the fantasy scene with a fast pace, suspenseful story about Siri Alvarsson, who discovers that her life is not what it seemed. As she discovers the truth, she is taken to worlds that she never knew existed. As the story progresses, so does the suspense, leaving you wondering what will happen next and wanting more. Ellis Logan takes you on a wonderful and magical journey. The question that begs for answers? How much of this is truth vs. fiction? Imagination vs. reality. Ellis Logan will challenge any and all preconceived notions about what we believe is real and supports her theories with scientific data. It will make you question so many things that happen in real life. I honestly loved it and cannot wait for the next book in the series." ~ E. Wolff Views: 513
Most people wouldn't expect a school teacher to amass a million dollar investment account. But Andrew Hallam did it, long before the typical retirement age. And he wants to show you how.
