Falling for Mr. Statham: A Billionaire Romance (Boxed Set)

**BOOK 1: Mid Life Love (Resisting the Boss)If you'd asked me what love was two years ago, I probably would've said, 'It's this amazing feeling that obsesses and possesses you; it's what me and my husband currently have.' If you ask me that same question today, I'll say, 'Please get the hell out of my face.’ Claire Gracen's life is picture perfect. Her career as a marketing director is on the brink of being legendary, and her marriage to her high school sweetheart has never been stronger. No, wait. It has. It used to be amazing and fulfilling, but one day Claire realizes that she's been living a lie and her best friend and husband have committed the ultimate betrayal. Broken and depressed, Claire is in need of something new—new city, new job, new friends. When she happens to attract the interest of the sexiest man she's ever met, a man significantly younger than her, she immediately turns him down—only to later discover that this man is Jonathan Statham, self-made billionaire and CEO of Statham Industries. Her boss. Jonathan Statham is unlike any man she's met before. He's used to getting whatever he wants—whenever he wants, and he isn't about to take no for an answer. Sexy, unpredictable, and charmingly clever, Mid Life Love is a story that will captivate you, entertain you, and force you to fall deeply in love with the characters. **BOOK 2: Mid Life Love: At Last (Loving The Boss)If you ask me if Jonathan Statham makes me happy, I’ll say ‘Absolutely. He’s the man of my dreams and I can’t wait to marry him.’ If you ask me why my ex-husband Ryan is currently one inch away from me—staring into my eyes and pressing his hand against my cheek, I’ll say, ‘I have no fucking idea…’ Claire Gracen finally has the life she’s always wanted: A career she loves, a man who’s willing to do any and everything for her, and friends that show her the true meaning of the word ‘friendship.’ As she and Jonathan prepare to make the ultimate commitment to one another and plan the wedding of her dreams, she quickly realizes that the hurtful past she left behind in Pittsburgh is a lot closer than she thought. Sexy, unpredictable, and as charmingly clever as Mid Life Love, ‘At Last’ will captivate you from the first page and never let you go.

Marcus has singled her out for seduction, and he wants to make her sit up and beg. No matter how aloof and unfazed Roni acts, Marcus can tell she wants him. When a brutal attack by a jackal pack forces them to work together, it’s the perfect opportunity for Marcus to chip away at her defenses—until he falls into his own trap, completely unprepared for the intensity of their connection. Roni is the only one who’s ever seen past his shifter charm and discovered the man hiding beneath it. And for Marcus, claiming Roni once will mean needing her forever.

The Water Knife

In the American Southwest, Nevada, Arizona, and California skirmish for dwindling shares of the Colorado River. Into the fray steps Angel Velasquez, leg-breaker, assassin, and spy. A Las Vegas water knife, Angel "cuts" water for his boss, Catherine Case, ensuring that her luxurious developments can bloom in the desert, so the rich can stay wet while the poor get dust. When rumors of a game-changing water source surface in drought-ravaged Phoenix, it seems California is making a play to monopolize the life-giving flow of the river, and Angel is sent to investigate. There, he encounters Lucy Monroe, a drought-hardened journalist, and Maria Villarosa, a young refugee who survives by her wits in a city that despises everything she represents. For Angel, Lucy, and Maria, time is running out and their only hope for survival rests in each other’s hands. But when water is more valuable than gold, alliances shift like sand, and the only thing for certain is that someone will have to bleed if anyone hopes to drink.

The Lord Came at Twilight

“I know them, these hills.” In the foothills of the Green Mountains, a child grows up in an abandoned village, haunted by memories of his absent parents. In a wayside tavern, a murderous innkeeper raises a young girl among the ghosts of his past victims. Elsewhere the village of Whistler’s Gore is swept up in the tumult of religious fervor, while in rural Falmouth, the souls of the buried dead fall prey to a fungal infestation. This is New England as it was once envisioned by Hawthorne and Lovecraft, a twilit country of wild hills and barren farmland where madness and repression abound. The Lord Came at Twilight presents 14 stories of doubt and despair, haunter and haunted, the deranged and the devout. ** Review "Reading the stories in this wonderful debut collection from Daniel Mills is like waking into an older, haunted America. The God of the Puritans holds sway, with terrible power and terrible beauty. The night is wondrous with spirits. Though these stories bear the influence of Hawthorne, Lovecraft, and Palliser, the numinous dread fills them is his alone. Mills recalls to us America's own dark wood, and it is lovely to behold." -- Nathan Ballingrud, author of North American Lake Monsters "The Lord Came At Twilight is silk-smooth and as dark as the shaft of an off boarded-over mine. Mills takes us that place and drops us in. He's kind enough to flash the lamp light down upon us now and again, so we can glimpse the claw-marks on the rock, the bones, the moving shadows... A terrifically affecting collection." -- Laird Barron, author of The Beautiful Thing that Awaits Us All "Mills has a poetic and visionary style of his own, capable of uncovering the beauty in horror and the horror in beauty. He has Lovecraft's ability to evoke awe and wonder, but he avoids the old writer's hysterical edge and tendency to adjectival excess. The Lord Came at Twilight is a significant and sophisticated contribution to modern weird fiction."  -- Reggie Oliver, Wormwood About the Author Daniel Mills is the author of Revenants: A Dream of New England (Chomu Press, 2011), selected by ALA Booklist as one of the Top 10 Historical Novels of 2011. His short fiction has appeared in a variety of horror journals and anthologies, including Black Static, Shadows & Tall Trees, and The Mammoth book of Best New Horror 23. He lives in Vermont.

Dreams from my sleepy mind.Every now and then I have a dream so detailed, I actually remember them the next day. Some go on forever, some are bizarre and some are surreal. But they are all guaranteed from my subconscious mind, not made up stories like the other books. Maybe you'll see one or two made into a larger story!
