No Cause to Die For

A PI with psychological training and computer skills teams up with a police lieutenant. He employs unofficial assistants to solve what evolves from obtaining information into possible murders. Together they uncover a plot to elect a puppet President controlled by a big time power broker.A detective works with partners and cyber tools on a case he has been asked to investigate by a university official. He discovers that his case goes a lot deeper than he first thought and asks various friends and unofficial partners to assist him. Along the way he also teams up with a police Lieutenant and together using the Lieutenant’s official department forensics and technology along with the PI’s cyber skills and investigative partners, some that have questionable connections, they discover a plot to disband sports programs from state supported colleges. In their place those behind the plan want to build amateur sports leagues that allow authorize gambling and lets them recruit the former college sports stars. With various investigative partners providing individual pieces of information, they are able to uncover a plot that not only involves huge sums of money, organized crime, and big time power brokers, but also includes a ploy to control presidential politics.
