THE CHUBBY CHICKS CLUB are a rag tag group of friends, who are not all chubby nor all chicks- but who band together to find a murderer (s). In this short story "Picture Not Perfect" seventeen-year old Tim (a son of one of the main characters in CCC) wants to go to senior prom. He has been scooping out ice cream at the famous local ice cream shop until his hands are frozen blue- all to save his money for prom. Yet he is getting mixed messages from his gal.Why doesn't his girlfriend Gabrielle want to go with him? Is she not who she says she is? For Tim it boils down to 'she loves me, she loves me not'- since I believe in happy endings, well you'll know what happens in this young adult, romantic mystery.
