Noah Samuels hates stuck-up, prim people like Jessica. He's more the blunt, straightforward type. But to advance up the ranks at McCormack Security, he has to take the high-profile assignment. After a near miss on his first day on the job, Noah realizes that the stalker isn't just hype cooked up to sell books - the threat is real. As the stalker escalates from letters to letter bombs, Noah sees a vulnerable side of Jessica that rouses more than just his protective instincts. Turning the Tide

So when property developer Matthew Corrigan wants to turn the boat yard into an upmarket housing complex for his exotic new restaurant, it's like declaring war.And the odds seem to be stacked in Matthew's favor. He's got the colorful locals on board, his hard-to-please girlfriend is warming to the idea and he has the means to force Harry's hand. Meanwhile, Harry has to fight not just his plans but also her feelings for the man himself. Then a family secret from the past creates heartbreak for Harry, and neither of them is prepared for what happens next.About the AuthorCHRISTINE STOVELL says that winning a tin of chocolate in a national essay competition at primary school inspired her to become a writer, an ambition she neglected for far too long thinking she had to have a proper job. After graduating from UEA, she took various jobs in the public sector writing research papers and policy notes by day and filling up her spare drawers with embryonic novels by night. Losing her dad to cancer made her realise that if she was ever going to get a novel published she had to put her writing first. Setting off with her husband, from a sleepy seaside resort on the east coast in a vintage wooden boat to sail halfway round Britain provided the inspiration for her novel Turning the Tide. Christine lives on the beautiful west Wales coast where long-distance running helps her plan her plots. Half marathons, like novels, both begin with small steps.

Death of a Citizen

Matt Helm, one-time special agent for the American government during the Second World War, has left behind his violent past to raise a family in Santa Fe, New Mexico. When a former colleague turns rogue and kidnaps his daughter, Helm is forced to return to his former life as a deadly and relentless assassin. Originally released in the era of the James Bond novels, these novels have been out of print and unavailable for almost 20 years. They were considered grittier and more realistic than Bond, garnering them critical praise and an ardent audience.

Cafe Romance

Café Romance is an intense romantic novel, sprinkled with sadness, joy, adventure, betrayal, sexual tension and emotional excitement. This is a dazzling and exotic and heartwarming, down-to-earth contemporary love story about an independent, self-made woman who discovers she is falling in love with a handsome stranger; a man who rescued her from a very violent and heart-wrenching carjacking attempt. The setting is the balmy coastal city of Tampa Bay, Florida; the city my leading character has recently relocated to. The two strangers serendipitously meet again, and from that point on, by design. In time, they find themselves growing on one other. Problem is my leading lady is being pursued by another love interest, a man she befriended several years earlier. As she wrestles with her feelings for both men, she is unaware that the handsome hunk she has fallen for is keeping an interesting secret from her, and that an old flame of his still has eyes for him as well. Add to this, he has a deep longing to be reunited with his lovely estranged wife. When these issues come to light, and certain characters in my book cross paths, there is an abundance of fireworks the likes you’d expect to find at a 4th of July celebration.

Cauldron of Fear

Set in the latter half of the seventeenth century, in an England ruled by fear and superstition, this is a tale of ignorance versus wealth and so-called education where, despite the fact that the notorious Witchfinder General has supposedly died in disgrace some fifteen years since, his acolytes continue his nefarious work in the more remote villages and hamlets. Greed, torture and a clandestine white slavery network are all intertwined here, where the wrong word, a misinterpreted glance, or simply a pretty maiden spurning the advances of a powerful admirer, can lead to a gruesome death, or worse still, a life of degradation, humiliation and constant agonies. Add a handful of genuine witches, with their own speciality of "wyrd" sex, abduction and torture, and life in rural Hampshire starts to become more than just a little precarious.
