Maddie Inherits a Cowboy

No heat. No bed. And a cow...hanging from the rafters? What kind of ranch is this? No wonder Madeline's brother only sent pictures of the stunning Nevada landscape. He couldn't very well have convinced his family he was happy in this godforsaken place. But the cold outside is more bearable than the frosty partner she's inherited along with half of the ranch. Ty Hopewell. Not exactly Mr. Social.Never mind. She has every right to be here. She may be a city girl, but Madeline Blaine has a PhD and she's not afraid to use it. Something about this place -- and this cowboy -- just doesn't feel right. And she's going to figure out what it is. And fix it. Fix him, too...if she can.

Jennifer's Lion

Hopelessly romantic, curvaceous schoolteacher Jennifer White had always dreamed of a fairy tale wedding. When her banker fiance Seth proposes to her, Jen thinks that dreams really do come true. When Seth reveals himself as a homicidal con artist and dumps her in the heart of the Serengeti during their vacation, she figures that the fairy tales lied. A lot.Cyeon Rarh is an alpha of an ancient shapeshifter pride. Usually he just gets annoyed when humans carelessly leave stuff in his territory. Cameras, outdoor gear, and occasionally...people. Yeah, don’t they know humans taste terrible? But there’s something intriguing about the sweet Jen with her silky skin, plump breasts and generous hips. His list burns hot the moment he sees her and claiming her as his own seems to be the most logical thing to do. Once she stops freaking out, of course."I relished reading this short story. Jennifer learns some hard lessons, meets adversity head-on, and still retains a genuine innocence that astounds. The banter between herself and Cyeon is funny and arousing at the same time. The author knows how to write hot, descriptive, passionate sex scenes that enthrall and are as scorching as the relentless heat of the Serengeti."Laurie-J, Night Owl Reviews ~ Rated 4/5 Stars"This was a great story... Ms. Lee certainly kept me entertained throughout the story. If this is a sampling of her writing, I would love to read more of her books. In my opinion, she gives voice to a problem many women suffer from, the desire to make a man fit the mold they want them in, no matter how many danger signals they give off, just because they see themselves as less than perfect or deserving of better. I also think she does a fantastic job giving a voice to lions. It almost makes me want to run off to Africa to find one of my own. I absolutely hope more lion shifters come in the future."Xion, The Romance Studio ~ Rated 5/5 Hearts

The life of Jethro Postlethwaite, as his recently-started diary will testify, has suddenly become very, very complicated...and very, very painful. It seems like giving a lift to an alien was not such a good idea after all.
