Arthur stared at her with such surprise that Lissa could not stand without laughing. She had to hold the wall next to not fall.

“That was bizarre” Arthur laughed “For a moment even seemed true.”

“You should see your face, it was hilarious. Here it is.” She offers the identity to him.

“All right” He handed the document after giving a brief conferred “Let go?”

  “Sure, I can’t wait ...”

“Sincerely? I thought you'd be ecstatic... really is excited?”

“Oh” She said ironically “You can’t imagine how much.”

Arthur led through the airport while talking animatedly. Lissa felt comfortable with him from the start, which was very strange since almost no one could win her affection. Maybe it was the professional way all that it tried to disturb you... Melissa Bittencourt loved messing things.

The two entered a luxury car and followed by the outer side of the airport. Lissa looked admired by the window and watch the huge aircraft. She looks the plane and felt the growing anxiety in the chest.

“I thought you were going to have to do check in and ship the bags” She said without stopping to look at the planes out there. Arthur giggled “I hate queue.”

“We also... So, we have a plane waiting for us.”

  “I should have known.”

“You know, we enjoyed their idea to sneak out. If we were to get it at home call much attention.”

“Yeah will know the mess that was going to be” She shrugged “Most of his fans are crazy.”

Immediately, she realized the mistake and tried to correct soon.

“But also... Who would not be crazy about Gabriel Voss?”

Arthur shook his head and laughed. Lissa sighed with relief ... It was close.

When they reached the place where the jet was parked around and Arthur, gentleman, opened the door and helped her down. Lissa looked amazed to the airplane.

  “Do you like?” He asked.

  “Wow... A very large plane.”

“So, let's go inside. Gabriel has not yet come, we will have to wait for him. It seems that some fans surrounded the hotel. Is crazy there.”

  “I guess.”

Why he had not left earlier then? She asked herself. Artists... Always so pretentious. Certainly, the fan was nothing more than a publicity stunt, so the super star would not sacrifice his precious hours of sleep just to wait for her. Gathering all the willpower and thinking only of Angela, the girl wore a mask of indifference, put an excited smile and followed Arthur quietly.

The interior of the jet was the most luxurious thing in the world. All with white with black details, the way she liked. The seats were black leather and looked very comfortable. The carpet was plush and white.

“Fell you’re in home” Arthur said, pointing of the spacious armchairs “I need to resolve the problem with Gabriel and then we'll be back. This is the Commissioner Anna” He said, pointing to a redhead dressed in all black uniform “She will be at your disposal. We will be back soon.”

  “Thanks!”

Arthur went out and left her alone. Lissa felt strange... I was at the same time used and not used to wealth. Her stepfather was billionaire and didn’t economize to the whims of her mother, but she personally did not like that, and never had indeed taken advantage of some luxury. Even the few furniture in your room were purchased with the wages she earned the PUB. It was not pride, it was self-respect.

She decided to sit in the chairs, because she was very tired. She had spent a sleepless night and there was still injured. Immediately she began to think of her scars and an overwhelming fear invaded it. For now, she was in Seattle which allowed cold weather wear clothes that hide the marks on the body, but what if they were suddenly to a warm place like California? What would she do? By the way, which was really the first one destination?

As if reading his thoughts or sense her arrest, Angela had called at that time.

“Can I use my mobile phone?” Lissa asked the commissioner who organized a few things in a small closet nearby.

“While not take off and the aircraft doors are opened, you can do.”

She nodded and answered the phone.

“Melissa Bittencourt!” Angela cried on the phone “I do not believe you slipped away! How could you do this?”

“I'm sorry ... You know I hate to say goodbye.”

“That’s no excuse, but okay... Ah but tell me, how he looks like? Handsome, is not it? He is kind? His voice is really that perfect?”

“Calm down!” Lissa grimaced “I haven't met him yet.”

  “As well?”

“He had a problem on his hotel, I'm waiting on the jet.”

“Jet? Oh, that amazing! You'll have to tell me everything! Especially the details of his face and his body.”

“Angela, everything in those pictures is photoshop.” Lissa realized the blunder at the time, looked at where the commissioner was before, but she had already left. She lowered the tone of voice just to make sure “I bet he must be ugly.”

  “Impossible.”

  Lissa laughed.

  “I have a problem.”

  “What?”

“The brands...” She answered shyly. She hated talking about it.

“Don’t worry! I thought at all. It has several wristbands in the suitcase and some other disguises.”

“Oh really? Our relief that... Imagine if we go to a warm place.”

“You do not read the script tour?”

  “No, I had one?”

“I sent you read yesterday before bed...”

Lissa could even imagine her friend rolling her eyes at that moment.

“And where do we go now?”

  “Texas.”

“Texas? Holy shit! There is hot as hell!”

“I know, but I choose some clothes to you... Relax. Oh, also I put my Gabriel folder in your suitcase. There has all the information on it, personal and professional, any questions just refer to it.”

  “I’ll not need it, Angela.”

“Yes, you will! You must pretend very well, and if they find out the farce, he’ll send you away in time! And I will not forgive you if that happens.”

“I do not believe I have to go through it. Still time to give up?”

“No way... And remember that you should document everything ... Every detail.”

  “I’ll do it”

  “You promise me something else.”

  “What?

  “You will not hurt yourself...

  “Angela ...

“Promise me, Lissa. I will not be there, and I haven’t anyone to watch you...”

“Angela, I'm fine, okay? If... If I have any problem, I’ll talk with someone…”

“Lie! You will not tell about it to anyone! I'm your best friend who just know because I caught you at that time, otherwise I would never know.”

  “Ang...”

  “Promise me, Lissa…”

“Angela, they arrived. I need disconnect ... Then I tell you everything. Xoxo. I love you!”

  And hung up.

Lissa sank in her chair, closed her eyes and took a deep breath, hating herself to lie. But also, she hated touch that subject. Angela sometimes was exaggerated in nursing, an example of this were the nail Lissa she had cut almost in play last night saying it was to prevent the girl was injured with them. Melissa was grateful for such care and other loved friend, but felt very bad about disturbing her with their problems.

“Miss” The Commissioner called after a few minutes. Lissa opened her eyes to look at it “you want to take your breakfast?”

“No. I'm not hungry ... Thanks.”

  “Anything just call me.”

Lissa nodded. She found a button that tilted the chair and leaning back on the soft padded, closed her eyes and slept.

To her misfortune, she had a terrible nightmare, started harassing her. She dreamed she was chased and ran from a man who wanted to hurt her. She screamed, but no on
e heard her, ran, and did not arrive nowhere and then suddenly stumbled and fell... The man, an old and hated known, he reached out and grabbed her foot. Gathering all the strength he had, he lifted the other free leg and hit him a kick.

“Oh shit!” She heard a loud scream of pain and opened her eyes immediately.

She blinked a few times trying to scare the clouds of dream that still clouded her mind. When she could wake, she jumped. Gabriel Voss was lying on the ground, holding his nose and bleeding. Immediately several people entered the jet, which until then was only occupied by two.

“What happened? “Arthur asked bolstering the singer.

“I think I hit inadvertently while sleeping” She said amazed.

  “But how?”

  “I don’t know, I was sleeping!”

  “Gabriel, are you okay?

“No!” He muttered “I think she broke my nose.”

  “Someone give me a towel”.

Immediately the stewardess handed him a towel. Gabriel touched the nose grimacing.

“I'll see if I can find a doctor or nurse.” Arthur said, running out.

Lissa thought it all too exaggerated. It seemed that Voss was between life and death. Maybe it was to the destination giving you the chance to take revenge ... She didn’t want to be there, and if it was not the competition that that asshole promoted, Angela wouldn’t have freaked out and stuck in that mess. It was being fun to see the singer gotten the beast writhing in pain all limp because of a nose.

  ♬

Gabriel Voss sat in his chair, glared at the girl and the strange light smile of contentment on her lips, was it happiness to see him even in a situation as embarrassing for both?

“Excuse me!” She said staring at him “And hi ... I'm your fan... Melissa.”

Gabriel blinked a few times and frowned. He was completely intrigued by that girl. He was about to answer, but the pain as well as prevent it still made him wince. If her, as fan, broken his nose, he can’t imagine what she would do if it was not a fan… but that was impossible... She had won the contest, then it meant that she loved him, right?

At that moment, Gabriel Voss did not know, but that girl had just come into your life like a storm, destroying everything she saw ahead and turning his perfect little world upside down.

CHAPTER THREE – GLAD YOU CAME

"My universe will never be the same

  I'm glad you came "[5]

G abriel Voss stared at the crowd outside the hotel, where he was lodged through the window of his room, feeling an immense emotion invading his chest. For so long time, he had dreamed with it and now it did not seem real. It is true that his career had gone through ups and downs like any artist, but at that moment the Rockstar was at its height. For several months, his songs were on the charts, his CD was one of the bestselling albums in America, he and his band traveled all over the world doing shows and taking the positive messages he loved to convey through his songs. All this could not be more ... Perfect.

The idea of casting a fan for the chance to take part in the tour had left him directly. It was a way of thanking for all the affection he received. And as he watched all those people gathered close to the balcony of his hotel room with posters and banners of him, he felt a great urge to take them all on the tour, but unfortunately that wasn’t possible. Only one person had been gifted, and her name was Melissa Bittencourt. Gabriel Voss had been looking forward to meeting her all that month. As soon as he saw her in that photo, he felt something strange... Her face seemed so familiar, but where could they have met? On a show, maybe, it was the most obvious.

“Gabriel, I love you ... Gabriel, I love you...”

The guy smiled at the crowd of fans singing in chorus. He opened the balcony door and leaned over the railing to greet them... He loved that contact with the audience, the love they gave him, the warmth of their emotions. The loveliest thing was that his fans were not just about teenagers, but many adults also followed his career and admired his work, and that was really exciting. Smiling with sympathy, the singer nodded and sent a kiss to the fans, making them crazy. And to return the affection, they began to sing the chorus of his single most famous, Stay alive.

It was impossible for Gabriel Voss to contain the emotion. That was the first song he composed in his life... There was something very special about the song. He had written it thinking about people who lose their will to live and think about suicide. That music was a stimulus to life, it taught people to value trivial things, to put aside their sorrows, and to focus on what is worth. When the fans finished singing, he applauded and bowed to them.

The singer wanted to spend more time there with his fans. It was rare moments that could be so open. Most of the time he had to have six or seven bodyguards on his side to stop anyone from touch his skin. It was no exaggeration, there really were fans who pulled him so hard that he even hurt. He knew it was not purposeful, and sometimes the emotions speak louder. However, as a human who loved to live, he needed to think about his safety in the first place.

He was so entertained by the audience that he hadn’t even noticed the cell phone ringing, he only knew he was getting a call because the phone kept ringing in his pocket. With much sympathy and affection, he said goodbye to the fans and returned to his room. The thick tempered glass door stifled the noise outside as it was closed leaving the room quiet and quiet. Gabriel took the phone out of his pocket and picked it up.

  “Arth.”

"Is everything okay with you? The security chief told me that near your balcony is crazy. There are fans everywhere.”

"I was on the balcony right now interacting with them.”

"Were your security guards with you?"

  “No.”

  "Are you crazy?"

“Arthur!” He rolled his eyes. "They are my fans, not terrorists.”

"A fan killed John Lennon, you know that?"

"You're very paranoid. I'm fine, relax. Have you looked for the girl yet?”

“Sure. She's on the plane waiting for you. You think you're going to be late?”

“I do not know. The people are keeping me stuck here...”

"I'll contact Brian to see how things stand.”

“Hmm ... But what do you think of the girl?”

  “She's weird.”

  Gabriel laughed.

  “How weird?”

“You know... We have to keep an eye on her, the girl smells like trouble.”

"Everyone smells like trouble to you, Arthur! You need to relax more.”

"I'm not saying I did not like her, because I liked. Despite being weird, she's a lot of fun.”

"I'm looking forward to meeting her."

"I imagine." he chuckled. "Well, I'll call Brian. See you soon.”

Gabriel put the phone back in his pocket and sat down on the bed. He took a few deep breaths. It was undeniable that he was nervous... Funny. If he was in that way, he can’t imagine the girl. Was she anxious too? And was she as beautiful as the picture? There were so many questions that he was already dizzy.

When he finally managed to get out of the hotel and go to the airport, the morning had turned into afternoon, but that was only on the clock since the Seattle weather, cold and dark like that, gave no indication of a change of schedule. At the airport, he was also met by another crowd of fans, it seems they had discovered the plan. The singer took another half hour to get out of the crowd, he gave some autographs and took several pictures as he walked.

When he met Arthur, who was waiting for him near the jet, he noticed that the assistant was very nervous and apprehensive.

“Wow! That's called a delay." The blonde said.

"You look like you're not used to it." Gabriel said, laughing and shaking his head.

"This time it's different... We have a guest.”

"What did you want me to do? Ignore my fans? I'm not that kind of artist, snobbish and arrogant like so many others.”

  “I know that.”

  Gabriel sighed.

“Where's Melissa? I want to meet her.”

“In there. I'll let the rest of the staff know you've arrived. You can go in and set it up.”

  “Ok.”

The guy climbed up the flight of stairs quickly and went anxiously. As soon as he got inside the airplane, he saw the girl sleeping in one of the armchairs. Silently, he approached her and look at her for a moment. With no doubt, she was beautiful... A little bit weird in those dark clothes, with long hair barely treated, peaked and as black as night, but she still beautiful. But what most took the attention of the singer was the expression suffered on her face and the way she moaned painfully while sleeping. It seemed that she was having a terrible nightmare. The astonishment on her face was so terrible that Gabriel felt a tightness in his chest. He simply hated seeing people suffering, and that girl seemed so fragile. Cautiously, he came a little closer to wake her, but then, suddenly, she hit him with a sharp kick in the nose. The blow was so strong that he fell to the ground. The singer let out a grunt of pain that instantly roused her. Falling to the floor and holding his bleeding nose, Gabriel noticed that the girl's awakening didn’t appear to be fragile at all.

  ♬

It took a few more hours for the plane finally start taxiing on the runway. The young singer was seated in an armchair, alone, and in a bad tempered since he had received the bad news from the doctor who had attended him when he said that his nose had even been broken and although the rocker already had it in its place was strictly forbidden by doctor to come on stage in the next few days. Gabriel Voss hated to cancel his professional engagements, especially those that were so much anticipated by his fans. He felt as if were in debt with them. But before the present circumstance, nothing more could be done but to recover as soon as possible.

As the private plane picked up speed, Gabriel caught himself looking toward his fan across the hall. Like him, Melissa was sitting alone, looking tense and worried, her gaze wandering between the landscape outside her window and the jetty floor.

Blaming himself for the disastrous way they'd met, Gabriel acted impulsively, unbuckled his seatbelt, and crossed the hallway to sit next to Lissa. The flight attendant gave him an intimidating look, but he just smiled at her in a mute apology and fastened the seatbelt of his new armchair around his waist, before the plane began its ascent to the skies.
