Chapter One
Belle
Silvercrest Prep was the kind of school no one ever wanted to leave even while they didn’t feel like going there every day.
Everyone knew the type: riddled with intrigues, lust, and money, drawing out the deepest desires in people even while bringing out the worst in every one of them.
And I hated it.
Yet I was here.
Shifting my bag higher on my shoulder, I tried to ignore the fact that my bohemian style didn’t match the stuck-up designer clothes everyone else was talking about.
Silvercrest was ruled by the Society, and I couldn’t wait to get away from here. We had your typical scandals, often more than one, but besides the fact that I’d been kidnapped when being no older than seven.
I remembered the day clearly. In fact, I remembered the whole time clearly, and while everyone made those three days out as if they had been the most horrible time of my life, that wasn’t true.
My ‘kidnapper’ had been a boy just five years older. Kip, a boy with dark eyes and long lashes, and he was the only one who ever took care of me. We played, we talked, he fed me gummy bears and chocolate all day, and I got chicken nuggets as much as I wanted. In contrary to my parents he’d been reading to me and took his time for me.
He and I had been in a nice little bubble, playing and laughing, and I’d never once considered something was amiss. He’d picked me up because my daddy couldn’t, and he’d taken me to a house that was small but clean, saying daddy would pick me up soon.
So nice.
I often wondered what happened to him because he promised me, he’d always be my friend, but then I’d never seen him again.
Shaking out of my thoughts I mentally counted down the hours until I could leave. I wasn’t eager to be home, either. After the kidnapping mom had sued dad for everything he was and had, ruining the man in the process, and she’d taken full custody of me.
I missed my father, but no matter what I tried, I hadn’t been able to get in contact with him.
Mom married rich and we’d moved here to Silvercrest. It had never struck me as weird that she got remarried so fast until a few years back Harlyn, my personal demon in this school and Queen Bee of the entire young population had made it her mission to hurt me and had revealed to me that my mother had been sleeping with Corey Jones while still being with my father.
God, I truly hated money and all that it made people do.
Combing my fingers through my hair I noticed the anticipation in the air, the excited buzz that traveled through the hallways every time new gossip spread.
Maybe someone was supposedly sleeping with a teacher again.
Or someone’s father was banging their high-end assistant, focus being on their end high up in the air.
I couldn’t care less.
And I probably wouldn’t have asked for closer information had Harlyn not spotted me, her wolfish grin making me feel as if this was about me.
“Aw, Belle…” She shook her head, drawing everyone’s attention.
“Harlyn, drop it,” Quinn pleaded next to her. While Queen Bee and I didn’t see eye to eye, I was friends with her best friend.
Sorta.
“Why? Don’t you think she’ll want to see? Look, I’ll be nice and not keep you in the dark.” She lifted her phone, making a show of typing on the display. “I’ll send you the video.”
It was li
ke a discipline at Silvercrest: Who found the most outrageous video and could entertain people the most.
I felt my cell vibrating in my pocket and refused to get it out.
Quinn shook her head. “Don’t, Belle. I mean, you don’t need to look. Just delete it. We don’t know for sure it’s your mom.”
I felt the color draining from my face at her words, and she seemed to realize her mistake, because she rushed out, “Nothing’s wrong, really. Just… You know… Silvercrest.”
Harlyn laughed, and as she did others joined in just for the fun of it. “Yeah, nothing wrong. In fact, I’d say your mother is doing perfectly fine. Or… Is it she was being done perfectly fine?” She thoughtfully tapped her chin. “Either way, I’m sure she’s more than relaxed now. Rejuvenated even.”
“Go and play your games with someone else, Harlyn. I don’t fucking care about what you think you saw.”
“Fucking, yeah,” someone snickered.
“And we all saw,” someone else added.
I would not do her the favor of watching whatever she’d sent me in front of her although now I felt as if I needed to see that, even just so I knew what everyone else did.
Suddenly Harlyn’s expression softened. “You know, Quinn’s right. We don’t even know if it’s really our mom. Probably just a passerby. Just delete it. It doesn’t matter. And now, everyone, I feel like you all should be coming in class… I mean, going to class.”
The crowd broke into giggles while I rolled my eyes and continued my way, making sure it didn’t look as if I was running.
Even though that was what I wanted to do. Silvercrest had never gotten to me before. I could handle whatever they were threw at me, but as I pulled out my cell and took a deep breath to steel myself against whatever Harlyn had shared with me, I knew this was about to change.
Silvercrest wasn’t my home per se, and I’d never found any close friends here because I wasn’t into drugs and partying, but that didn’t mean I didn’t want to feel at least some sort of belonging.
And as I opened the video, I knew that this would be what could get my mother kicked out of the house we lived in.
Affairs were one thing if kept in private, but the video? The video I just saw showed my mother, morning gown hanging open over her naked breasts as she leaned back on a bike, someone in black leather kneeling in front of her.
There was no question what he was doing, and no question about where it was happening: our driveway, and while it was clearly filmed from some bushes because you couldn’t see that spot from the street, no one would think this to be a B&E.
I turned off the video, deciding that I needed to get home now.
Kip
I rolled over, sweaty and satiated although I had to admit it had been easier sleeping with Corinne Jones when I’d taken her from behind.
For years her face had haunted me, had made me angry, and while that still was the case, I was here to get my revenge.
Pulling out my cell I flipped through the photos I’d taken: my tattoo-covered hand in her hair, pulling it back as I fucked her from behind, taking her hard, making her cry out.
I also had some of my dick sliding into her while she’d given me a coy smile over her shoulder.
My favorite had to be when she’d knelt for me, swallowing me down like the good little slut I knew she’d be. I’d even managed to catch the framed picture of her and her husband in the shot.
Damn, I should get paid for taking photographs like that.
Oh, right, I am being paid for that.
The bitch fell asleep, her constitution no match for mine, and I got up, walking out of the marital bed before snapping one last picture of her, spread-out and cum-covered, then I left. I didn’t care about walking naked through the house. Corinne had made sure there was no one here, and even if, I knew how staff worked: You paid them enough and they were loyal to whoever had the most money.
As I made my way down the Jones’ grand staircase I wondered if the little show I’d initiated outside had made its rounds yet the way I expected it to.
I had the video on my phone and I’d check it out later. Knowing where the security cameras were—again, staff was heavily underpaid here—I made sure you couldn’t see my face. I found my pants next to the bannister, my boxer shorts still inside, and pulled those on first before searching for my shirt.
Had we lost that when I’d finger-fucked her on the kitchen counter or was in the office of her husband? I retraced the steps we’d gone and found my things one after the other until pulling on my helmet behind the front door.
I clipped it closed before lifting the visor, grabbing my keys and making my way outside. The sun was shining and, in the distance, I heard the ocean waves roll in.
Damn, Silvercrest was a beautiful town, but I was only here to extract my and my sponsor’s revenge.
“Who the fuck are you?”
I froze just as I got my bike ready and lifted my eyes from the open sandals and pink toe nails up a long skirt and a white knitted sweater, just barely giving you an idea about the incredible body it hit.
The finishing touches were long, blonde tresses and angry dark eyes.
The air left my lungs as if I’d been knocked into my stomach. When coming here I hadn’t considered that I’d be coming vis-a-vis with the second face that haunted me since back then: Anabelle.
Maybe it had been naive of me not to expect her to be here, but something had made me believe she’d be away at some boarding school.
“I’m talking to you, asshat,” she snarled, coming closer. “How dare you do that to my mother, and in the driveway no less?”
Ah yes, the video had made its rounds and it clearly was good enough to let people know whom had been enjoying themselves in the privacy of their homes.
God, Belle was beautiful. I was tempted to pull off my helmet, to let her know whom she was facing, but I knew that it wouldn’t get me a favorable position with her.
Not right now, not when she saw me as the guy who’d helped her mother cheat.
Instead I decided to play it off cool, to make her turn away from me even while I planned on meeting her on neutral ground. Coming here she hadn’t been part of the plan, but now I couldn’t help but want to get to know her again. I cocked my head, glad I’d shut the visor before pushing the key into the engine. “I can give you the same pleasure. You know, I have much more endurance than your mother.” I pointed over my shoulder, my voice muffled by the helmet and yet clear enough so she would get my drift.
“Tell me she had the decency to take you to a guest bedroom.”
I nodded, wondering if she realized how naive and adorable her question was. As if cheating got worse just because it was in her husband’s bed. “The guest room, the foyer, the kitchen…”
She threw her handbag at me, screaming in frustration, and I swing a leg over the black Ducati, starting it. The roar beneath me and the vibrations against my legs made me feel calmer instantly even if my heart was thundering in my chest.
I’d been a criminal all my life after her mother had landed me in juvie. It hadn’t been long, and it certainly could have been worse, but because I’d been living on the street before, my records never got expunged.
They would have, at eighteen, but by then everyone knew I was a kidnapper and dangerous. In the beginning I’d protested that, then I’d played with the reputation.
You were safer on the streets if people were afraid of you.
Drugs, gangs, guns—I’d seen it all.
Finding a job after that? Impossible.
And all just because Corinne Jones had paid me five bucks to pick up her daughter since she was running late. She’d even given me the fucking address of the house with the open door, and I’d entertained her daughter. It had taken a few days before I realized something was off—and by then the police had rushed in and I’d ended up with my face smashed into the floor.
This motorcycle though, this was the beginning of a new life, a better one.<

The only thing I had to do was make sure Corinne Jones would fall—and that operation was well under way.
Chapter Two
Kip
Silvercrest’s elite clearly had a tough life.
Corinne’s husband had left the house at seven, like every morning while his wife probably was still in bed. This time around I didn’t care who’d see us.
What I had made sure of was that Anabelle wouldn’t be there anymore, and she’d taken her car just before I’d come up the street to her house. If she had seen me on my bike she hadn’t let on.
I wanted to talk to her, and I planned to, but not before I’d played the victim.
Ringing the doorbell, the maid opened. “Yes?”
“I need to talk to Mrs. Jones,” I stated with a smile, carrying my helmet in my hand. I had no doubt she knew who I was even if she just politely shook her head.
“The lady isn’t feeling well, and therefore—”
I brushed past her, calling out for my ‘lover’. “You better come down and talk to me or I swear I’ll—” I trailed off as the sound of feet rushing over expensive marble reached my ears and Corinne came flying down the staircase.
As I turned, the maid was nowhere to be seen. “What the hell, Corinne? You promised me that this was all private. When you let me go down on you, you said no one would be able to see!” I roared and she winced, holding her morning robe closed in front of her body.
“I don’t know why you are upset, Alex. You cannot be recognized! My husband came home, asking me if that was really me on the bike. I cannot believe anyone would be filming us.”
I could, but didn’t say that out loud. “Oh, and what did you tell him?”
She shrugged, proving that she was the queen of manipulation. “I had this yoga teacher a while back, and I called her, offered her twenty thousand and demanded of her to tell my husband she’d been early to our appointment and had been let in by the maid.”
That fucking bitch talked her way out of it.
“So… We’re good?”
She grabbed the zipper of my leather jacket. “We are so good, Alex… And if you want, I can make it up to you. You know, all those worries…”
“Who leaked the video?”
I stopped her hand, angry because she had managed to get out of it. Again.
Instantly her expression got murderous. “I don’t know, but I will find out. If I get caught cheating, Corey will divorce me. I cannot have that.”
