Mario refuses to mate, but how will he resist two commanding men seeking their happy ever after?

For years, Mario’s fought the stereotype of being an omega. While working tirelessly to make his company a success, he’s battled his own desires. His parents want grandchildren, but Mario isn’t ready. In his mind, alphas mean heartbreak, and he won’t give up his freedom to make others around him happy. He’ll be damned if he’s trapped by someone who doesn’t care for him again.

Jaivon and his man are blissfully in love, but he knows a third will strengthen their bond. However, uncertainty looms in his heart. Will adding someone destroy what they already have? Bryce is content with his lover, but knows they need another to complete them.

Although he fears the future, Bryce is confident Jaivon will stay. If their bond is broken, it could devastate Bryce forever.

When Jaivon and Bryce meet Mario, he has nowhere to run. Caught between two alphas, the urge to drop to his knees is powerful. Will he submit to his carnal desires or deny those feelings to satisfy his pride?

Refusing his instincts could do more harm than good.

  Chapter One

“Mom, I really don’t have much time to visit this week. I’ve been busy with work.” Mario clicked the button on his mouse and pressed print.

Mario heard Mother number one, Lolla sigh through his earplug speakers. “Mario…” She started speaking in Italian which meant he’d be in huge trouble with Momma number two, Daphne.

Mario grimaced and bit his bottom lip. He’d have to find a way to placate her, or he’d never hear the end from either one of them. “Mama, mi dispiace. I promise, I’ll make it to the west coast to see all of you real soon. Getting this company off the ground has taken up a lot of my time.”

  “Don’t give me that, Mario!”

  Fuck, she sounds mad.

Good thing he was miles away from his parents.

“It’s been off the ground for three years now. You’re rich and still single.”

  And happier.

Little didn’t Lolla and Daphne know, Mario had no intention on getting hitched with anyone. Just thinking about that made him itch and break out in hives. Never would he be suckered into that again.

Apparently not satisfied, Lolla complained about his choice to be without love in his native language. She mentioned how not having someone would make him haughty and difficult to deal with. Her last words made him snort. “You don’t want to become an old cat lady, do you?”

Did she forget she gave birth to a boy and not a girl?

Mario shook his head, knowing both mothers, especially Lolla could take things to extremes. Why wasn’t it okay for him to be alone? He’d never figure that out.

“Mario, your company is doing well, your employees seem happy don’t you think it’s time for you to settle down and find a partner?”

“For crying out loud, Mama,” Mario growled. He lifted his arm and eyed his watch. Mario cursed under his breath, just low enough so Momma Lolla wouldn’t hear. She’d always reprimanded him for swearing, even going so far as to spank him, despite being a grown man.

  “Mario? Answer me.”

“Momma, please. All in due time, okay? Business waits for no one. You know how the world isn’t kind to omegas who want to be successful, especially to those wanting to be single fathers.” Mario shrugged.

“I don’t understand why an omega would want to have children without an alpha to keep them grounded,” his mama fussed at him.

Mario rolled his eyes at that. The only thing he ever needed alphas for was to get him off. “Mama, we’re not going to have this conversation again. Not everyone wants a mate. Children sure, but not some alpha to tell them when to eat, drink, and sleep.”

What kind of mating have you been in to think that’s how it happens?” Momma Lolla said, sounding very worried. “Your Momma Daph and I have a beautiful relationship.”

“I’m not talking about this again, Mama. Your mating with Mama is different. She respects your thoughts and opinions. I’m happy with my life. Maybe one day I’ll think about the whole mating thing again, but for now, my focus is my business. I get that it doesn’t make you happy hearing that, but that’s how I feel.”

“You were a stubborn child and you’re a stubborn adult.” His mama grumbled, adding a few choice Italian words of her own.

Mario held back his snicker and cleared his throat.

She continued. “It doesn’t make me happy to think you’re alone and don’t have someone to share your life with, but I’ll abide by your choices for now.”

Yeah right, she’ll abide by it but remind me of how alone I am every time I talk to her. Love the woman, but she can be annoying on the issue of mating.

Mario wasn’t ready to settle down with anyone or anything, but a cold beer and a willing ass or cock on occasion. Granted the ones he mostly bedded were omegas and betas. So far, Mario only had an alpha twice in his life. Once for the man who shall remain nameless and another who was a quick fuck in the back of a bar. Both of them were drunk and horny, promising not to cross paths again. Just once he would love to top an alpha, but knowing how most wouldn’t even want to deal with an omega unless they were ready to mate or offer up their services to get pregnant, that desire would be almost impossible to achieve.

“Fine.” Momma Lola sounded utterly frustrated with Mario’s answer. “I’m convinced one day, someone will come and sweep you off your feet, Mario. Jesse is such a good boy. He’s steadily looking for a mate, why aren’t you?”

Dammit, I thought we were done with this conversation.

“Jesse is a lot nicer than me.” Mario half smiled. His younger brother was much more of a submissive, too, unlike him who wished to switch roles on occasion.

Jesse also wants to desperately find a mate.

Mario adjusted the earpiece to fix his tie. “Momma, I need to go, all right? I’ve got urgent business to attend to.” Honestly, he had none, but he didn’t wish to be bothered with Lolla’s cries. He loved them both, but their complaints grated on his nerves.

“You do, hmm? Right.” Lolla didn’t sound convinced. Mario could see her expression clear in his mind. “Well, make sure you call back when you are free, okay? If you find anyone, I want to be the first one to hear about it.”

“Yes, ma’am. I love you, Momma.” Mario had his hand on the disconnect button.

“Love you too, son. Remember what I said.”

“I sure will. Yes, bye.” Mario tapped it and leaned back in the chair, breathing a huge sigh of relief. He pulled the plugs from his ears and stared at the ceiling of his home office.

“One day, I suppose.” Mario shivered in horror. “A mate? Who wants the fucking hassle? I’ll take the good sex over being bothered with someone wanting to know my every move?” Mario had been down that road before and promised himself never to go through that again.

Mario sighed aloud and straightened, toying with the pens on his desk. A part of him did get lonely at times, but he was never lacking in sex partners. He's d fucked omegas and betas but for once, he'd love to sink balls deep into an alphas tight heat and have them coming hard on his cock, that made him boil with need.

Shit. I’m getting hard just thinking about it.

Knowing how alphas acted at the very idea of submitting to an omega, he doubted his freaky wish could come true, but stranger things...

He understood what his Momma Lolla wanted for him, but Mario had a few things he needed to cross off his list of priorities. Like fulfilling his kinkiest fantasy of fucking and being fucked by two alphas at the same time. It needed to occur before he thought about settling down with anyone. Alphas were naturally the top dogs while the omegas were seen as baby-making machines. In his opinion. There might be some truth to alphas and omegas being destined mates, but why was it the omega’s duty to get pregnant?

Mario hated the set societal hierarchy of alphas, betas, and omegas. Alphas were seen as the protectors, They were the bosses and entrepreneurs that owned fortune 500 companies. They were revered for their strength and were flawlessly handsome. Betas had an even better standing even though there was nothing special about them — except they could be with whoever they set their sites on and had no societal responsibilities. They weren’t seen as important and weren’t required to have children. However, for some odd reason, they balanced out society.

Mario hated being born an omega. He didn’t see a lot of benefits to the whole thing. He disliked depending on suppressants to slow down his heat that he’d suffer through every month. Sometimes they didn’t work as quickly as he would’ve liked. Usually, he had to find a willing beta who could fuck him through the mattress until his heat subsided. He didn’t dare fuck an alpha during is heat cycle. He feared getting pregnant or finding out they might be his mate.

Ugh, I fucking hate that shit.

Mother Lolla didn’t understand why Mario hated it. She’d always told him it was a gift he should treasure, because he’d get pregnant and have children someday for his desired man. Sure, he wanted them, but why was he the one that had to get pregnant? After what had happened in the past, he was truly terrified of the whole concept. Still, a part of him wished to try again.

Mario went to rest a hand on his stomach but stopped. He scowled at his silliness. “What the hell is wrong with me? This happens every time I talk to my mama. I let her words about mates get stuck in my fucking head.” He stroked a hand over his chest and down to his stomach proudly patting his six pack abs. “No need to fuck with perfection by getting pregnant.”

I’ll pay someone else to carry the kid.

Although it might not make his mother happy, at least she’d get the grandkid her and Mama Daphne always wanted Mario to have. If Mario was in the mindset to find a mate and have kids it wouldn’t be the perfect moment for him. Not when Capri Charters stocks were up and making him into a millionaire. He was among a small group of elite omegas that were CEOs of their own company.

They were slowly breaking the rules of societal hierarchy.

Their goal was to change the dark age of thinking that omegas were only meant for one thing. Mario was smart and used his intellect to connect with the right people. He went from owning one charter plane to a fleet of them with the upper crust of society depending on his service. Although his family thought he was financially set for life, Mario didn’t think so, he wanted more. Some would say it was greed but he saw it differently. He never wanted to depend on anyone.

A mistake from his past taught him that he had to look out for his well being.

Being the son that he was, Mario already took care of his moms and Jesse, setting them up in a mini-mansion on the west coast and financial stability. When his best friend, Marko asked for a loan to open his restaurant, Mario gave him the cash up front and told him to ask if he needed more.

With so much going on, why would Mario need to settle down?

Mario couldn’t understand why simply enjoying sex and being with who he wanted wasn’t enough for society.

Because some believe it’s an empty way of living.

When Mario’s subconscious spoke to him, he tossed the pensaside. He had to get out of this fog to look over the financial reports he planned to present to the board of directors in less than thirty minutes. They were looking to expand and build another headquarters in Europe and the Caribbean. Of course, that would mean more office time. Less opportunity for anything personal.

Sorry momma but don’t look for that grandkid anytime soon.

Mario shrugged, knowing he’d get read the riot act again. Momma would just have to understand, his desire to succeed was bigger than his desire to mate. Mario was young. He had an eternity. They weren’t an immortal race, but lived a lon
g time. He’d read stories of omegas getting pregnant in their late fifties.

Why rush into something he wasn’t totally on board with?

After his meeting was over, Mario headed for his condominium that was located in Providence, Rhode Island. Mario loved the low key atmosphere of this East Coast town, especially the Victorian-style houses as opposed to certain places like New York where the brownstones were so close together your neighbor could probably hear your every thought.

If he ever decided to settle down, he’d build a Victorian-style home to fit his taste. Though Mario loved to be flashy in some things, he preferred his home to be in a less pretentious area. Sure he was famous, but not being able to walk out his door without being hounded by paparazzi types bugged him.

Once he arrived at Parkway Hills, Mario drove in through the gated portion on the side to his assigned parking spot. He shifted his gear into park and turned off the car sitting back for a few seconds before getting out. For this particular building, the parking was worked into the condo fees so his Porsche wasn’t on the street. Although this was a nice neighborhood, it didn’t mean Mario was comfortable leaving his one of a kind, Cayman anywhere. People sped down this block all the time, and because it was outside of the downtown area, it was always bustling with cars.

Once Mario pressed the fob, he walked to the rear of the building. He plucked his key from his pocket, and shoved it into the lock.

  “Good evening, Sir.”

“Hi Jensen.” Mario nodded at the doorman, walking through the spacious lobby on his way to the wall of mailboxes. He pushed his key into number 201 and grabbed the mail out.
