  Chapter One

  Stoney

“You're gonna do what?” my VP and best friend Tracker yells as he slams his beer on the bar top.

“I’m heading up to Lancaster, Pennsylvania, to meet with Boss,” I say, smirking at him. I take another long pull of my own beer finishing it off. Setting it down, I tap the bar signaling for Cherry Pie to grab me another one without looking toward her. I never pay attention to the clubwhores who parade themselves around here.

I made that mistake once and swore to never do it again. Doesn’t mean I don’t get my fair share of pussy. All I have to do is snap my fingers and any of these bitches will be more than happy to sink to their knees and suck my dick. It all comes with the perks of being the President of the club.

“Why the fuck would you be meeting the President of the Iron Vex MC?” Blaze snaps. He’s not one for trusting outsiders. And after the way Boss and I kept going toe-to-toe at Twister’s club, I don’t blame him. Boss and I had clashed several times during the shit going down with my brother Hades and his ol’ lady Emerson.

I still don’t understand how the connection with the Iron Vex MC came about. It’s a sore subject for my brother, yet it brought a mutual understanding between the clubs. All because one of the Iron Vex claimed Emerson as his family.

The whole situation is strange to me but whatever. I wasn’t expecting to have to see any of them again. That is until Boss’ name flashed across the screen of my cell earlier today. Clearing my throat, I try not to allow my thoughts to drift back to the scene I thought of earlier today. While we were on the phone all I wanted was to see her kneeling before me with my dick in her mouth, keeping that trap of hers shut with all the nonsense she spews out. She’s a hot woman, but damn is she irritating when she talks.

“I’m meeting with Boss because she’s requested a meet with me in regards to some bullshit her club’s been having for a while.” Shrugging, I grab the beer from Cherry Pie, muttering a thanks.

“Okay, so who all is gonna be at this meeting?” Tracker asks.

“I’m going by myself. No reason to drag anyone with me since she’s coming alone. I’ll be leaving sometime tomorrow morning. Boss and I are meeting at Mally’s Pub,” I say, looking them both in the eyes.

I knew neither of them would like the idea but sometimes there’s shit I gotta do by myself. Being President ain’t always easy.

“I don’t like it, Prez,” Blaze mutters what I already knew he was gonna say.

“Figured you wouldn’t, but from what Boss said on the phone, she’s looking for a potential alliance with us to help with a cult situation. After all the bullshit that’s been going on with Twister’s club and that satanic cult, she thought we might be able to help them out. Rumor has it her grandfather is the one who started it all and killed her father in cold blood. However, nothing was ever confirmed to the public. I’ve got Nerd looking into the rumors as well as this cult,” I inform them of what I know so far.

“And you think it’s a good idea to meet this woman by yourself,” Tracker probes.

Out of all my brothers, my son included, these two men and Bear know me the best. They were around when everything happened with
Horse’s mom. How she left us all because she didn’t want to be a teen mom. Too bad I can’t seem to get rid of her fully. Mary seems to think she has a right to come to me when she needs money. Even now, when Horse is almost thirty.

Still blows my mind to think I had a kid when I was fifteen. But I learned from my mistakes. Don’t trust a woman to not use her body to get what she wants. It’s why I drilled it into Horse’s head to always wrap your shit up, even if it’s just for a blow job. Bitches seem to think they’ve got some sort of claim on you once they fuck you.

Maybe it’s why Boss and I didn’t get along when we first met. She’s used to getting what she wants done even if she does it herself.

The only women I’ve allowed to get close to me are the ol’ ladies, and even then, it’s to an extent for most of them. However, when it comes to Kenny and Cleo, those two women are like daughters to me and are a different story. Kenny, with her big heart, sacrificed her happiness with Horse in order to protect the club at a time she didn’t even know he’d been a part of it. As for Cleo, well, she and I created a bond when I walked into her hospital room to find her about to slice her own wrist, ready to die. Everyone else is family but nothing compared to those two.

Inwardly shaking my head, I give my brothers a grin. “Don’t worry, brothers, it’s not like I’ll allow a woman to hurt me. Besides, you’ve heard the rumors of the type of club she runs. They’re swingers,” I laugh, yet inside I tell my dick not to even think about it.

Fucking the woman who is the President of another club and a potential ally wouldn't be a good idea. No matter how hot she is.

“I hope you’re right, Stoney.” Sighing, Blaze lifts his beer to his mouth.

“How long are you gonna be gone?” Tracker asks.

“I’ll stay overnight. You know I don’t drink and drive. I’ll call y’all once I get there,” I say before finishing off my beer.

Without another word to them, I turn to face the rest of the room, seeing my brothers enjoying our usual Friday night party. Women dancing throughout the room as some of the guys join them while others are either at the poker table or pool tables. Some of them are even fucking in the midst of it all. Yeah, our typical party is fully under way.

Pulling out my phone to find it’s after one in the morning, I’m sure I should be heading to bed now but not before I take care of something first. Just as Tiny goes to walk by, I snag hold of her wrist and pull her with me to my office.

“You know what I want,” I mutter, sitting on the couch in the corner as I pull a condom out of my pocket. Opening my jeans, I rip the foil open and slide it over my dick.

“Yes, Sir.” she murmurs with glee as she gets down on her knees.

Leaning my head on the back cushion, I allow myself to enjoy the simple pleasure of having Tiny’s mouth around my dick.

  Chapter Two

  Boss

The New York sun beams down heavily on me as I stare out across my neighborhood of Queens. The little Cuban store on the corner has one of the boys waving people in to try some masitas. Whenever it’s slow, they offer free samples to try to strum up some business.

A loud popping sound causes me to shift my attention to the left, where the garage a couple blocks over is. Over the last two weeks, it’s been pretty typical. Sal, the owner, just hired his grandson to be a novice mechanic. He’s been fucking up shit so much. I went there yesterday to check on how one of our cars is making out. I bought one for the club about a year ago from a guy in the Bronx. He wanted to get rid of it at a good price and honestly, after Faith was abducted by my grandfather . . . I needed assurance they’d be able to get to and from class safely. The guys would alternate picking them up on the back of their bikes, but during the winter it became something no one wanted to do. The car was a much better idea.

I scan my eyes over the only place I’ve ever called home, reflecting on everything that’s happened over the last year and how my life has changed in more ways than one. In the last year and three months, I went from salvaging some sort of relationship with my father to losing him. He was never a good man, not even the slightest bit, but he did try near the end.

Sometimes I ponder about everything that transpired during those few months, wondering if there was some ulterior motive. Chuckling to myself, I run my hand through my hair and soak in the lukewarm September air. I’d be an idiot to think my father, the legendary Rage, didn’t have anything else up his sleeve.

For fuck’s sake, he dropped my half-brother Joker on me like it was nothing. I still can’t stand that arrogant bastard. He obviously takes after our father.

After he died, the entire club changed. Everyone knew I was the Prez and the woman in charge . . . but before his death, my father really started to grow on people. There’s nothing that could ever make up for the torment he caused in his lifetime, but he did do some honorable things before he died.

I remember the day he was killed like it was yesterday. He and Gold had gone after a lead to see if they could locate Faith. They found one and went into this bed and breakfast type of thing. Long story short, they found her in the basement . . . but my grandfather had stabbed my father before they found her. Gold slit my grandfather’s throat and was there when my father died.

I doubt he loved her, but he certainly did care a lot about the woman. At this point, she’s found happiness with Chuckles, and the two of them are a great match.

That night I rode over with Omen and Ricochet, I recalled the way my father’s body laid limp on the ground, under fluorescent lights I could see the color already fading from his body. He didn’t have a will or any of that shit, so I took care of his funeral arrangements, burying him in the same graveyard my mother is buried in.

Everything was so silent for a while, like it was all passing by in slow motion. With my father tracking down where his dad was, we thought everything was over. At least, we did for a time. Now we know there was more than one head to the cult he was in. We thought he was the leader, but now we don’t know anything for certain. There are too many things aren’t adding up, leading me to believe our fight with this fascist cult isn’t done.

“Why the hell did you ask us to meet you up here?” Ricochet, my Sergeant at Arms, barks. I turn my neck over my shoulder to face him, seeing how he’s charging up over here. I’m bettin’ I interrupted some fuck fest he had goin’ on downstairs and that’s why he’s so irritable.

Omen, on the other hand, is snickering from behind him, so that’s the only confirmation I need that my thoughts are on the bullseye. Omen is my VP, my right-hand man, and the only person I can count on in the club to have my back no matter what— even if he doesn’t agree with it.

“So I can throw you over the side if you give me shit,” I sneer, meeting his eyes with my own. Ricochet glares at me in response and falls on the outside seating that ends next to me. Meanwhile, Omen slides his hands into the pockets of his jeans and looks over the city like I just did moments ago.

“She only calls us up here when she has shit to say we don’t like to hear,” Omen speaks up, looking to Ricochet before he meets his eyes with mine.

Sometimes I hate that my VP knows me so well because he can call me out on all my shit, but there’s no one else I’d rather have at my side. Instead of playing it off like what I’m about to say isn’t that bad, I’m gonna spit it out. “I’m leaving in an hour to go meet with Stoney from the Devil’s Riot Originals.”

Ricochet raises his brows while Omen gives me the nastiest look he ever has. “You mean that misogynistic asshole? What the fuck do you need to meet him for?”

“Well, damn, Omen. If I didn’t know from firsthand experience, I’d think you have a pussy under those jeans. Didn’t know you hated him so much. I’m going to meet him because one of his charters has dealt with a cult similar to the one we’re dealing with. I’ve heard some rumors that they’re popping up in the Virginia and North Carolina area, so I’m going to see if we can agree to an alliance.”

&n
bsp; “I don’t hate him. Hatred takes too much energy. Wouldn’t mind breaking his knees from what Ricochet relayed to me after the last time you ran into that group. Seems like a pretty small-minded fucker, if you ask me, and one thing we don’t need is an alliance with a man who has a pipsqueak-sized brain. Bet he doesn’t even like that you’re a woman in the Presidency.”

Omen doesn’t know it, but he’s spot on. I won’t admit that to him, though. I’ll simply leave him wondering and allow him to think about whether he just fucked up or not.

“Actually, I think I’ll get on the road now. I’ll be back late tonight, so do me a favor and don’t let shit go to hell while I’m gone.” I slap Omen on the shoulder as I walk away but stop in my tracks and turn back to him. “You won’t have a problem with that, right?”

I watch the way he bites his tongue and nods, so I continue onward, heading down the side stairwell that leads from the rooftop all the way down to the garage and hop on the seat of my bike. I don’t plan on staying, so the only thing I need with me is my gun, wallet, shades, and keys.

I slide my helmet over my head, not giving a fuck if it gives me helmet hair, and put the keys in my matte black Kawasaki Ninja H2 R, press the button on my keys for the garage bay door to open, and head down the road.

We agreed to meet later in the evening, so even with traffic I should get there a good hour or so ahead of schedule. I’ll scope out the place and see my advantage points just in case shit goes awry.
