  "No problem, Steven," Meg said. "How's VR land treating you?"

  I was worried Meg thought I was a huge nerd for playing video games.

  "It's good," I said. "I haven't played much."

  "That's a lie!" She said. "Everyone I know who has one is completely addicted to it. Do you have any good games?"

  "Uhhh," I said. "Not really."

  There was no way I was going to tell her what I was playing.

  "Well," Meg said. "When you're not too busy NOT playing VRMMO's, we should get coffee sometime. Here's my number."

  Meg handed me a piece of paper and turned and left before I could say anything. She waved over her shoulder before hopping in her car and speeding off.

  "What the hell just happened?" I said, standing in the doorway.

  I sat down in my chair with the warm pizza on my lap, realizing I had a raging erection the whole time I was talking to Meg.
