He grasped her shirt and gently pulled it over her head. His eyes traveled from her face to her chest, her body trembling at the raw hunger reflected in his eyes. He reached out, filling his hands with her breasts, kneading them and lightly rolling her nipples between his fingers. Her breath hitched.

A vision of him standing by the fat pig’s bed, his muscles rippling, his cock standing fully erect, filled her mind. Hesitantly, she slipped her hand down between their bodies, beneath the waist of his pants, and grasped his cock. His eyelids fluttered shut, and a groan escaped his lips. She pumped her hand up and down, letting the soft, velvety skin slide beneath her grip.

He suddenly shifted away from her and shed his clothing, then tugged her underwear off and tossed them somewhere behind him. She parted her legs and gasped when his fingers stroked her slit, teasing her moist folds. He carefully nudged a finger into her while his lips crashed onto hers again. Her heart pounded, and the slow burn he had ignited erupted into a raging fire. She was parched, thirsting for more of him, all of him. Pulling and tugging at his body, she made him lie on top of her, his cock just touching her vagina.

“Take me,” she whispered. “I want you so badly. Take me, David.”

He rained kisses all over her face, then claimed her lips again, silencing her pleas. He pushed into her, slowly at first, then harder, and with one thrust, he broke through. A tumultuous wave raged through her, a storm that needed to be quenched. She arched up, threw her legs around him and clutched him tight until he began to move within her.

  “I can’t stop it... I can’t... oooooh... Starla... I’m coming...”

Wave after wave of pleasure coursed through her as he collapsed on top of her, breathing heavily. He buried his head in her neck, his fingers tangling in her hair.

“I love you, Starla,” he whispered. “Marry me. I don’t want our new life to be a charade.”

She didn’t either. So much had been taken from them by the Institute. So many lies had been spoken by Schultz and Schmidt. Love was real. It was not just a fairytale, and what she and David had was not a myth. It was magical. An entity unto itself that grew within her heart and touched the far reaches of her soul.

“And I love you, my David. I couldn’t imagine life without you anymore.” She nestled her body closer to his, enjoying the feel of his skin against hers. “Yes, I will marry you.” She let out a deep breath. Their conversation from earlier in the day momentarily stifled her happiness. “I don’t want to start a family yet. Not until we are sure no one was sent to exterminate us. Besides, remember, we don’t know if I can even have children.”

He lifted his head and gazed down at her, then caressed her cheek. “Whatever Schultz and Schmidt throw at us, we’ll defeat together. And if you can’t get pregnant, the Institute is full of children they have bought, kidnapped, or stolen. They will need families when we free them. Parents that understand and want them, not those that would give them away or sell them.”

Starla felt as though a weight had been lifted from her. David was right. Genetics did not make a family. Love did that, the bonding of two hearts, two souls, with plenty of love between them to share with little ones. Joy filled her at the thought of some of the very young in the Institute, orphans in need of their overflowing barrel of love...
